At least you can train your neck to get it thicker, most people who do fitness already have a thicker neck without specifically training it. That said, for some of these I preferred the thinner neck. It depends.
As long as you don't have a pencil neck, you're fine. Neck size is also something within your control, as it's a muscle and it can be trained just like any other muscle. So if it really bothers you, you have the ability to change it.

You also have to take into account shoulder width. A man with thinner shoulders will look much better with a proportionally thin neck. A wide neck makes thin shoulders look even thinner.
Honestly I find the slimmer neck more attractive... a wide neck to me has bulldog vibes and that really isn't attractive to me personally. But yah, just me probably. I, much like majority of other anxiety disorder sufferers involuntarly train my neck pretty much most of my time (wake and asleep). And the stiff, muscular neck comes with far more risks/bad side effects. You eventually develop issues with sleeping, swallowing, vision, headache, exacerbation of androgenic alopecia and much more. If you have a reasonably functional neck, maybe consult a pshysical medicine expert before you decide to give yourself sleepless nights and fear of swallowing over a arbitrary trend 😮💨
