no disrespect and you said it yourself, but he’s merely decorating NOT designing. Interior designers do soooo much more than just decorating. Please consider doing some research. Interior designers deal with structural, electrical, mechanical, work with contractors, produce construction drawings, abide by (and must know) building code and SO MUCH MORE. So while drew is hella talented and decorates beautifully, he’s not an interior designer!
actually interior decorator refers to the craftsmen/ construction workers who do stuff like plastering, painting, woodworking etc to the interior spaces!
Yes. Correct. You’re an interior decorator. Interior designers do much more with building codes and architect too. There is a difference. Interior designers go through extensive schooling. People never understand the difference but there is one. I’m an interior designer. Graduated from school for it so I work with contractors and building codes etc. I do floor plans and layouts. And use tech applications like Autocad. That is not taking away of the immense talent you do have. And that’s why I watch you. Keep rocking!
Glad you said this! It's like a difference between a chef vs cook. Not trying to take anything away from him, he's super talented, its possible he just doesn't know or doesn't know there's a better word to describe him
I have never seen anyone with the natural talent Drew has. Drew, you are so spot on with your presentations. You have media presence with the best of them. You represent your generation so well, but your good sense of style and taste reaches people of all ages. I have a four year interior design degree from Virginia Tech. People graduated with me who still had no natural color sense. It’s not necessary to have to pay to attend school when you come by it naturally. Honey, you don’t NEED to go to college to learn how to decorate; you have it in your DNA. I would consider you an interior stylist. You don’t only pick the colors, textures, and shapes, you know how to combine all the elements into some serious style. I love your editing and how you do your graphics. You are fantastic! Keep it up and I’m sure someday you’ll have your own home improvement show. You deserve it.
Alice Woodside totally agree. I’m an architectural designer. He has great natural talent and understands space and color well. You can’t learn everything from Pinterest though, and design professors and professional have so much information and inspiration to share. If he ever wanted to take his career beyond styling, he would be an excellent candidate for interior design or interior architecture school.
I think there is a lot of room in the term interior designer for a lot of different artists and backgrounds. I've found designers who need to make the distinction you are discussing call themselves interior architects. At least that is what the major was called at my art school.
You can take courses in Interior Design and pass the RIDQC. Also would use autocad. Many Interior Designers are self taught or went to school for another career.
I‘ve once heard the tip of thinking of shelves as a skyline. You want taller pieces, medium pieces and some very small ones here and there. And to have something else that’s not block shaped to stand out from the rest.... for example you could put some books in the middle of the shelf and a camera and plant to the sides mix it up. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but it always helps me hahah
@@melisarose3922 That's a really good tip thank you! I'm gonna start decorating my room and was confused as to how I should decorate some parts but your comment gave me a good idea
“Honestly, I’m not an interior designer.” I almost laughed! Hunny. What do you call all this magic then?!!! ... This came in perfect timing! I’m about to change my bedroom and this info helped SO MUCH!!! Thank you! I love you! You’re my favorite interior designer 😂😘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨✨✨✨
Melanie Rodriguez I think he just says that because he isn’t professionally trained. Like he’s just being humble, but I agree with you. He’s designing interiors, so he is an interior designer.
Final Fantasy Moogle I know hun, it’s a way of complimenting someone and giving credit to someone who basically is. Trained or certification his eye and his magic with interior is something some people done have even with training. So when someone has a talent... let’s say they do incredible make up and they say I’m not a make up artist... if someone says yeah right.. they are complimenting them. Figuratively.. you know? He’s clearly done his homework too though. I could tell you that by his vocabulary and his skill set in other videos as well. So yes, he’s my fave designer. He designs incredibly!
Melanie Rodriguez yes, I know that, I was agreeing with you. He’s probably better than some who are trained and went to interior design school. Because he has creative abilities and that is not something that can always be taught, it comes naturally to some people. But yes, I agree with you and i think it’s good that you said that ❤️
I think experience, talent & skill beats any qualification anyday. Drew has mad skill!!! 😇❤️I just finished studying interior design but started working without a qualification for 2years.

I used to prefer dark, saturated colors and they're still pretty to see if done well, but with a family tendency towards depression, I've discovered that light and airy is the way to go. If I'm already depressed, waking up in a navy blue or dark purple or maroon bedroom is not going to encourage me to get out of bed and face the day. I'm now leaning towards layering white, ivory, pale sand, pale gray, light turquoise, cerulean, and sky blue with small accents in sage, yellow or dusty rose.
Something I'm thinking of doing is an accent wall like the one Drew had in the video - with the rest of my room being more light and airy. Hopefully done well it'll be a nice combo of moody + airy? I'm sure there's ways to combine, but I don't think I'd tackle more than 2 styles in one room (even though I wish I could lol)
@@jeanvignes Good point for anyone to consider. I LOVE matte black walls, but the city I live in rains a lot and I don't think I could handle it with my emotional dispositions.
This is such a comprehensive decorating video. I am adding it to my "DIY" bookmarked files so I can refer back to it. When you are famous, I will be able to say "I knew him when......" I am currently still looking for a new couch, but I have decided that I really want to go to a store and sit on it and pick out the perfect fabric. I have recovered my current high end couch twice, and it lived through raising two boys!
We have a nearly thirty year old leather couch and chairs. It was a significant cost when we bought it, have brought up three strapping lads and had several moves. It's still a great couch, but showing wear, so we are thinking of having it recovered as the frame will outlast us all. My granddaughter was dismayed when I told her we were thinking of replacing it, as "It's the 'family' couch!", so I guess we have to keep it. The style is not too dated, and I think the softer parts could be slightly modified. Did I mention it's the best couch I've ever fallen asleep on? 😏
I love that he's very hands-on, sharing and showing his own work/projects, and they look so nice. I feel lucky that I'm finally here after heaps of others sharing their "professional high-end" tips when they filmed themselves in front of a blank dull space.
I totally thought you were a professional designer! Of all the pros I watch on here, you’re easily the most informative, approachable, and understandable content creator. You bring insight to average people like me, instead of casually encouraging viewers to go out and purchase $4,000 lamps lol. I love this channel!
After watching your Bretman video, I created a mood board for my new apartment and can I just say, YOU ARE A GOD'S SEND!!!!! It immediately showed the chemistry of all the pieces and art I had picked out, allowing me to see what pieces just did NOT work and what vibe each room would give me. I didn't realize how important it was. Thank you
I would love to see a video about how to style a room using hand-me-downs and vintage/secondhand items. Most decor videos talk about what you need to go buy which is not only wasteful but also unrealistic for most people. It would be cool to see a list of items to look out for when shopping secondhand, things that are easily customizable to fit your aesthetic, and how to plan a room maybe based around a specific piece of furniture and building off of that vibe? idk maybe just me
As an Architect i dont agree with your design approach but as a human being i love your energy and you as a person . Your videos has have helped this 25yr old who just cried her eyes out cz of her parental issues . Thankyou .
Thanks, great information. I have learned before that if you're starting from scratch (e.g. moving into your first real home as a young adult after college or living with your folks) that it's a good idea, after doing the mood board and design inspiration research, to buy your anchor piece(s) for the room FIRST. In the living room, this would probably be the couch or a pair of recliners or two soft chairs w/ ottomans. In the bedroom this would be the bed & headboard. If you're not made out of money, these anchor pieces will probably be your biggest investment and you'll want maximum flexibility when selecting your most expensive item (i.e. not already be locked in to a certain shade of blue by accent walls/curtains/rugs). You may have your heart set on a specific style of chocolate suede couch and then, upon seeing those $5,000 price tags, decide that a sage green floor model with a tiny ding on a back leg on sale for $1,400 is the best choice for now. Once you have your anchor piece(s) then you can design the rest of the room around them: curtains, rugs, lamps, tchotchke, plants, etc. These smaller, less expensive items can be added over time, but the room will already be functional (you'll have someplace to sit and someplace to sleep). If you blow your budget early on, then you might not be able to afford a couch at all. Eeeek. Oh, and measure, measure, measure before you buy.
OMG 5 windows in one room would be my absolute dream...all that natural light to play with would mean absolute win for a dark & moody theme. Not to mention it being the bedroom too. Dark & Moody in a bedroom helps compliment the functionality of it being a room for sleeping, and promotes a healthy circadian rhythm. All you need is a couple soft 2800K bulbs in the ceiling and floor/table lamp in the darker corner of the room. You'll be winning. 💖
Lone Fox turned up in my feed yesterday and now I can't stop watching these videos. Love the personality, the self-humor, the DIY energy, and of course, Drew's taste! I'm a different generation (don't ask), and I live on the East Coast, yet I'm learning so much! I particularly appreciated these helpful "how to" tips that gave me insight into the process and a method for taking my own design forward! TY, TY, TY, Drew!
Thanks for tips and ideas! My husband and I are getting our first apartment flat and will be doing lots of shopping for furniture soon. I'm in India so the common theme in most homes is very dark painted walls in every room. I prefer lighter shades of color since they make the space feel more open and bright but not too white and sterile. I've helped paint apartments with my dad and he taught me a lot about choosing the right color and always paint the ceiling white.
Any other interior designers here binge watching and pausing to go see if your camera from photography class in ID undergrad has video...no? just me.. lol seriously amazing how he has taken his passion and turned it into his job! Takes so much work, and he has done such a great job!! So inspirational!
“I am not an interior designer “ you literally need to put that on a merch shirt because it’s so NOT true that it’s funny ~ you are one of the most talented designers I watch ~ you’re designs always are Pinterest/magazine worthy ~ you either have an eye for design or you don’t ~ it can’t be learned ~ you can pick up hints and tips and tricks and put something gorgeous together, sure, most of us do that ~ but your designs scream confidence and are timeless yet on trend at the same time, always ~ anyways!!! I just had to comment cuz it made me chuckle when u said that ♥️
Hey Drew, the rule of thirds also applies to composition. For example, a proposed 'scene' can be divided into thirds/a grid and if the subject is aligned it will create balance and flow. Your content is always so well conceived, can't wait to see what you do with your new place :)
The most helpful tip I learned in architecture is to reference something. Ie if you have an angled wall you can choose an art piece or furniture piece to match or reference the wall. It creates a more cohesive approach to your design.
I love the fact that you are so humble...you name Macenna as well as Alexandra Gater...I already follow them, but it's awesome that you always name people in the similar work. Kudos to your spirit dude. ❤️
I love the idea of using the same metals, I love black metals. Also using all natural elements for decor such as woods, whoops, ceramics, Stone, etc. I’m a huge fan of using real plants but there are some beautiful plants that only survive outdoors so in that case I’d use a Faux plant. I think it just brings so much for life and warmth into your home and really gives it that homey feel❤️ I’m obsessed with your videos! Thank you Lone Fox🙌🏼 All the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
I love watching these kinds of videos and especially from you! But I think what I gravitates me is the sweet person you seem to be. Just this beautiful vibe I get from you!
this was literally a lifesaver for me! i’ve been having such a hard time deciding on what my bedroom should look like with curtains and wood and now it’s all set!! :)
***************Not at all trying to diminish Drew's talent***************** I love coming to your channel and seeing the really beautiful spaces you create and your thought processes. I'm a junior majoring in Interior Design and I wish people wouldn't use the term "design" when they're "decorating". Designing a space isn't just picking out furniture and paint, there is so much more knowledge and creative talent that goes into being a designer and all I ask is for ALL decorators to not diminish our years of education and (my future experience) in the field just by adding the word "design" to your "tips and tricks" videos and blog posts when you're doing a room makeover/ redecorating a space, not that redecorating is at all the issue but it isn't designing. There are so many different aspects to the Interior Design field that I haven't even explored for myself whether it's Restaurant, Hospitality, Healthcare, Commercial or Education design, and there are more than that besides Residential. Although I know residential is the most accessible to people and it pertains to them and everyday life, but my whole point is to hopefully educate **everyone and Drew** in the sense of not going in the same direction as every other decorator who has taken advantage and used the "design" name to get somewhere and not teach people the differences between them. I just hope when I get into the field I could be apart of those who want to make a change because it hurts when I see these "design tips on how to style your bed" **not that Drew has** Anyway, appreciate you Drew and I can't wait to see how far you go!
I such at designing space. So I absolutely love the rule of thirds and the bedroom guide: Black metals, same color of wood and so on, easy to follow guide. I work best with clear rules and instructions that I can bend and break as I sew fit. Thank you for sharing g
Honestly I feel the same way except I like all the edgy aspects of different styles but I feel like if you pick things that go together from each aesthetic you can have the best of all the worlds!
Great idea for a video Drew! You ARE an interior decorator and the suggestions are so helpful!!!Obviously you don’t have to label yourself anything you don’t want to, but not having a degree or getting paid to decorate other people’s spaces isn’t necessary to call yourself that! You have some SERIOUS skills!!! You do AMAZING work!!!
i neeeeeded this! moving into a new place in july and i’m so indecisive because i wanna choose a style/pieces i won’t get tired of but it’s so hard to find things that i really fall in love with
Oh man, first Alexandra, now you with the "I'm not an interior designer" thing. Ye guys are too humble for your own good :) This is a lovely video, short and to the point. I have to say that putting together mood boards is the best tip I've heard in a while, ever since I saw Alexandra doing it I've made MASSIVE progress in planning how to decorate my house. Also, the matching metals and wood tones is something I've been doing all along without even realising it, nice to hear that it's part of the strategy for a pro! Looking forward to seeing your apartment finished
Alexandra Gater and Drew are both super duper talented and fun to watch and are correct, they aren't interior designers. They're more interior decorators or interior stylists. Interior designers don't just decorate...they work with contractors and stuff to do major stuff like tear down walls and do major structural remodels. It's a different job.
The simplest yet cohesive tutorial I’ve watched so far! I hope I’ll have a space to call my own one day to decorate. Will definitely be taking tips from this. Thanks!
This is the best explaination of putting together a room i've ever experienced! The perfect balance of simplified + technical advice! Thank you so much for sharing your process and your spaces.
This video was fantastic. I felt like you gave enough detail of each tip to be useful, and included clear examples, without going into it so much as to be overwhelming. Another thing that really freed me up to acquire thrifty furniture is that fabric can be painted with chalk paint! So I only had to find things in good enough (or repairable with my limited skills) condition in a style I like, but the color doesn't matter so much. I've ended up with a bohemian living room, but if I decide to put in the effort I can switch up the style to more "moody" (what I like to call grounded :-) ) just by painting the rug and/or chairs.
YOU ARE MY NEW FAVORITE RUclipsR!!! Just came upon you videos a few days ago and I love everyhting, you are so real and honest about the videos you make. You've found your passion and you are working hard!! love it!!!
You have helped me so much. We are buying a house next year and I had no idea how I wanted my home to feel. Now I know....LIGHT AND AIRY. This video was soooo helpful.
I’m looking to be a spacial / interior designer in the future and had a similar process in rearranging my room. I feel like your advice is spot on, especially for someone who says they’re not in the profession!
Don’t forget to consider function. And don’t feel obligated to decorate as soon as you move in somewhere. Live in it, see what you love, what you hate, what works and what could be improved. It also gives you time to accumulate things with meaning and have a curated look instead of a department store copycat.
I noticed you still haven’t decided what to with the window behind you. Have you thought of shutters? I thought that would make a nice statement. The semi circle above can be left without covering and you won’t lose the impact of it. Just an idea. Can’t wait to see you decorate this new apartment. I love your style.
I'll add a tip from the interior design world: Don't do an accent wall just for the sake of bringing a color in or making a statement in and of itself. If you are doing an accent wall, you should be thinking "WHAT am I accenting?" You should be using the color to accent something beautiful on or by the wall. You might want to accent a beautiful piece of artwork, or a stunning mirror. Maybe you're putting a fabulous cabinet (with gorgeous table-top pieces and maybe a beautiful lamp) next to the wall. That's great, but please don't paint an accent wall and then just put up hooks where the kids hang their coats and backpacks, or a sad poster you bought at Walmart to fill up space. Think of an accent wall like a frame around something you love and then, by all means, accent away!
I would also like to add that accenting a wall in order to make a “zone” in the home works too! For example my kitchen and dining and living space are essentially one long room so I did board & batton in the middle to accent the dining area and it made a huge impact to define the zones.
For curtains, I think it depends on where you live. If people can see into your home, then you need blackout or curtain material that you can't see through. Love the 3 color suggestion though.
This was so helpful! Thank you for sharing! Before the stages that you described I like to start with how the room needs to function, what it is used for, where the walk ways need to be. From there I go to what kind of furniture I need (what kind of storage, table etc) and where it needs to be placed in order for the room to function. And then I go to the steps that you so described, that where so good!
Thank you for this video Drew! This was so helpful! I especially loved your tips on rugs and how to use the rule of thirds. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent debating rugs and still haven't bought one because I haven't been sure which way to go. I'm glad I can come back to this video and I can't wait to use the tips you've given in my spaces! :)
You look so divine, I don't know why but the new apartment really gives off a homey+lovely+relaxing vibe. I'm absolutely looking forward to the apartment makeover!💕
Ahh!! So glad you posted... this video couldn’t have come at a better time! During quarantine I decided to paint a accent wall in my room on the whim and now need help designing! Thank you for this!!💗
This is perfect. I'm moving in to our house in a few months, my mom is coming home from work abroad and I'm starting my job in our hometown in few months now. Our house was always empty since I started college, so it's a perfect timing your video came up, would really loved to do decorating at our house in the future. Thanks ❤❤❤

Drew, you are so awesome. You inspire me to make my room look less ugly. I love watching your channel for your personality too! You’re a great youtuber!
Drew, thank you! Rule of 3 opened my eyes to see what is really "missing". It puts everything nicely together, I will try to apply this in my apartment.
That sounds really fun! I do love online stuff such as canva. But physically touching and moving the pictures does sound fun. Never heard that idea. Have heard of mood trays too where can actually feel textures of fabric samples, etc.
This came at perfect timing I have been designing my room for a while now (I’ve lived here for 2 years 🥴 ) but was so lost as first and now it’s finally coming together . Yet , I felt like I still wasn’t stuck on a cohesive design because as you mentioned , one issue I was having was just pinning a bunch of diff styles . I will now go back and refine . Love all your videos !
can you make a video about designing walls? I'm always so overwhelmed by designing the walls in my room. I'm worried about making the walls too cluttered or if they look too bare. and also ideas of how to design walls above a bed. thanks!!
This is honestly so helpful and to the point. I have this giant room outside my bedroom that I've sort of turned into a lounge and relaxation area and for months I couldn't find a way to start decorating it. It's a plain white-walled black-tiled room and of late it just sort of stresses me out because I couldn't find a way to give it some identity and make it cozy. I haven't realised how important it is to co-ordinate tones because i've been mixing and matching with my furniture too much! definitely following your steps!! Please can you do a video on which walls to highlight and play down in different types of rooms, especially for rooms that are long and narrow, or small and camped for example :)
Love this!! I need this because I’m trying to re-vamp my space, I’m kinda hopeless when it comes to interior decor so your videos are coming in very handy
When choosing curtains: Keep in mind the environment (climate). For those in Cali and Florida light airy treatments make sense. But in places where the weather drops significantly you might want to choose layers or thicker curtains. They can help keep heat in and cold out. You may want to do one layer of light curtains with a top layer of thick curtains so when the weather is okay or the sun is out you can enjoy an airy esthetic but still have a thick curtain layer for when the temps drop. Always keep in mind where you live when designing just to save yourself a headache. Sometimes keeping the ceiling fan option but changing the blades or buying a newer modern one could help you in hot weather. So just be mindful of the weather when making design choices.
I'm going to use all this tips on my animal crossing cabin

Drew: Do you prefer Light, moody, cosy or modern vibes?
Me: All of the above :)
SAMEEE:):).🌹
Optical Illusrin I believe it’s doable and can look great
@@jeanvignes Good point for anyone to consider. I LOVE matte black walls, but the city I live in rains a lot and I don't think I could handle it with my emotional dispositions.
This is such a comprehensive decorating video. I am adding it to my "DIY" bookmarked files so I can refer back to it. When you are famous, I will be able to say "I knew him when......"
I am currently still looking for a new couch, but I have decided that I really want to go to a store and sit on it and pick out the perfect fabric. I have recovered my current high end couch twice, and it lived through raising two boys!
Omg thank you so much! I really tried to make something that was super helpful!
@@lonefox Could you please do a video on how to create a mood board? Your digital mood boards look so professional.
My sims house is about to look so good 😂😂
i'll love to see some of your builds
ugh i love the sims
Drew you are the “best kind of interior designer” a “NATURAL”
you have such a talent and ability it shows in everything you do!! xx
the best tip I've learned from your past videos is MATCHING METALS!! that can make any furniture goes together nicely!!! thank you
You are so welcome!
I just had to comment cuz it made me chuckle when u said that ♥️
I LOVE THIS IDEA!!! GENIUS!
He’s not cocky unlike most youtubers with a following !!!
"I'm not an interior designer" Netflix series 💜 Drew is so talented ❤️
Ivette Chipuli LOL fabulous idea !
Final Fantasy Moogle agreed ~ love him ♥️
Hey Drew, the rule of thirds also applies to composition.
Why are we not at 1M subbies. His channel is amazing ❤️

I personally like to create the space on SIMS! And then play around with different decorations and furniture. It's like a 3D interactive moodboard!
......I might have to download the Sims
I am so happy that you just moved to a new apartment because of all the amazing content that’ll come our way! you are such a huge inspiration!

***************Not at all trying to diminish Drew's talent*****************
I love coming to your channel and seeing the really beautiful spaces you create and your thought processes.
I just hope when I get into the field I could be apart of those who want to make a change because it hurts when I see these "design tips on how to style your bed" **not that Drew has**
Anyway, appreciate you Drew and I can't wait to see how far you go!
Really not even necessary
@@ariw9405 your comment is unnecessary
I such at designing space. So I absolutely love the rule of thirds and the bedroom guide: Black metals, same color of wood and so on, easy to follow guide. I work best with clear rules and instructions that I can bend and break as I sew fit.
Thank you for sharing g
I feel stressed, I want modern, cozy , light and moody all at the same time and I can’t /:
Me too :/
Honestly I feel the same way except I like all the edgy aspects of different styles but I feel like if you pick things that go together from each aesthetic you can have the best of all the worlds!
I love when youtubers shoutout other youtubers, y’all are amaaaazing 💕
I love how aesthetic everything is. Aesthetic outfit, aesthetic background, aesthetic thumbnail
Also, how you teach or talk throughout the video is concise and very easy to digest. Thank you so much for creating this video!💕
This was so inspirational, I had to stop and go make a mood board then come back to the video. Thank you Drew ! We absolutely love you.
You do AMAZING work!!!
i neeeeeded this! moving into a new place in july and i’m so indecisive because i wanna choose a style/pieces i won’t get tired of but it’s so hard to find things that i really fall in love with
Elena Anna same here good luck on your design
So how did it go ?
@@flowersafeheart not sure about Drew, but Alexandra did bits of that too.
The simplest yet cohesive tutorial I’ve watched so far! I hope I’ll have a space to call my own one day to decorate. Will definitely be taking tips from this. Thanks!
Never wanna hear u say you’re not an interior designer ever again 😤 you’re literally the best
I love to see you really trying to teach as much of your knowlegde as possible to us 😍💪
Aw thank you :)
Drew and his channel has been getting so many people through the lockdown. So glad I discovered Lone Fox.
Please may we have English subtitles for the Deaf please 😊❤️
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the video :)

I love how you gave Alexandra a shout out ❤ you and her are my two favorite design/makeover channels!!
This guy needs a show! I could watch him all day!
I luv Alexandra Gator for small living spaces, so glad you mentioned her
I noticed you still haven’t decided what to with the window behind you. Have you thought of shutters? I thought that would make a nice statement. The semi circle above can be left without covering and you won’t lose the impact of it. Just an idea. Can’t wait to see you decorate this new apartment. I love your style.
Find the ostrich is my new "where's Wally". Lol
Great tips! What brand of peel and stock wallpaper do you recommend?
@@laurabrown6798 WHY ARE YOU EVERYWHERE SHUT UP
How to create a beautiful room: Start with a beautiful room. That room he's standing in at the start of the video is gorgeous.
What's nice is that it's not only an informative video but fun also. Thank you Drew for this, love ya!
i’m here trying to design my minecraft house
I'm with you. Curtains and rugs are the hardest. An accent color distributed around the room also moves the eye around the room.
For curtains, I think it depends on where you live. If people can see into your home, then you need blackout or curtain material that you can't see through. Love the 3 color suggestion though.
Me, an architecture student watching you; I love how you explain, better than my prof. 🥺
Yay! Need this video! I'm decorating my room and now I can make sure I'll have a good plan! Thanks so much Drew! Love you! ❤️❤️
Thanks ❤❤❤
*I absolutely love this!* You are 100% an interior designer! Always look forward to your amazing videos! You motivate me to keep going on here! Thanks again, love! 🥰
Fia Garcia no disrespect and you said it yourself, but he’s merely decorating NOT designing.
I’m getting a HUGE makeover soon (basically all furniture replaced, repainted walls) and I’ve always been really bad at decorating but since We’re in quarintine I thought that since I’m going to spend my teenage years in my bedroom I might aswell make it something I love and where I feel comfortable
I’m going to use all of these tips, ty
Love the positivity here....you are so amazing❣️❣️
Drew, you are so awesome. You inspire me to make my room look less ugly. I love watching your channel for your personality too! You’re a great youtuber!
Drew, thank you! Rule of 3 opened my eyes to see what is really "missing". It puts everything nicely together, I will try to apply this in my apartment.
I love this! A great idea is to have a physical mood board, print out the pictures, cut them out and move them around till you're happy.
That sounds really fun!
That sounds really fun! I do love online stuff such as canva. But physically touching and moving the pictures does sound fun. Never heard that idea. Have heard of mood trays too where can actually feel textures of fabric samples, etc.
Can you also walk us through, or let us watch your design process for the new house!?
This came at perfect timing I have been designing my room for a while now (I’ve lived here for 2 years 🥴 ) but was so lost as first and now it’s finally coming together . Yet , I felt like I still wasn’t stuck on a cohesive design because as you mentioned , one issue I was having was just pinning a bunch of diff styles . I will now go back and refine . Love all your videos !
can you make a video about designing walls? I'm always so overwhelmed by designing the walls in my room. I'm worried about making the walls too cluttered or if they look too bare. and also ideas of how to design walls above a bed. thanks!!
Alejandra Gularte he has covered wall decor in some earlier videos
I love that you referenced Alexandra Garter - I love her! 💕
I’m so ashamed. I’ve been watching Drew’s videos for nearly a year now and only realized I wasn’t subscribed 🙊🙀
I'm with you honey for Pinterest. Love it.
yess!!
