No, despite that I can hear, it was rather fortunate for deaf people to have the opportunity to understand the dialogue from this telemovie thru closed captioning, as opposed to having their relative or sign language instructor use sign language while the movie was playing, especially when it originally aired.
I loved this movie every year as a kid in the 80's. It's a lot of fun. Still nostalgic now.
