So sorry about the arthritis! I hope the break from sewing will help the discomfort resolve somewhat so that you can continue with the quilt....it's a beautiful design.
I don't need another diamond quilt as I already have one hanging up but my friend loves the design and colours so she will be happy to get it in whatever final form it takes. I tend to just google hexagon quilts and go through the images for inspiration.
You’ve been working hard! That’s going so quickly. Looking lovely. I’m getting to the tail end of my postage stamp paper pieced quilted pillow. It’s really dragging, but I’m antsy to start something new.
I understand how you feel. I was getting bored with the underwater quilt so started this one. I might get bored again and go back to the fish and seahorses.....time will tell but there is no law that says you have to finish one project before starting the next.....sometimes you just have to have a break and start something new in order to give you the motivation needed to finish the first project.
That quilt is going to be absolutely gorgeous Julie. I love it 😀
Thank you Robin. I also think it will look great but it really isn't my sort of thing colour wise but my friend will love it which is the main thing.

Thanks Lynne. I am sure the break from sewing will help it as I would like to get back to this quilt.
Wat a beautiful quilt, ure doing a great job. Love the colors .
Thank you very much for commenting. It is definitely more colourful than my usual quilts and I think the wite brings out all the other colours nicely
Love this new pattern. I am looking for a new pattern for the next hexagon quilt. I just put borders on my quilt. It is a king, grandma's garden.

I think the pattern and the colors are going to make a LOVELY quilt !! How big do you figure it will be at the finish ?
Thank you. I plan on it being queen size duvet cover size which is roughly 2.2 metres square. That will be a LOT of half inch hexagons for sure.
Superbe bravo amitié de la Belgique❤
Hope your finger gets well soon! Also, this quilt design is really nice ^_^
Thank you! 😊
