At the end of every video, I'm always like "no, no... I APPRECIATE YOU!!!" I'm "that old" that I remember finding your channel when you were just at your beginnings and I instantly fell in love with your personality, your knowledge, your ability and eagerness to teach, your enthusiasm that has always been so appealing to me and obviously to so many others. I'm grateful for finding you. You're such a gem. Unique, brilliant and extremely valuable. Love from Croatia 💙
I love how you restrict your drama to just the eye looks you teach so well! Oh Wayne, you're so wonderful in a no-nonsense way! Thank you for this look!
You are a GIFT for people like me, who are more or less handicapped when it comes to eyeshadow! And a divine breath of laid back, firmly grounded, authentic and funny fresh air on youtube and the world of beauty! Thank you for being you!!!
You are so great! Your tips target the young to the old ladies like me who still want to be pretty. I also want to say that you’re so gorgeous, and your under-eye area is fine!! You are a beautiful man! Inside and out! Fondly, MM Klaar 🌻
I used your Smoky Quartz palette for the first time yesterday. I was extremely impressed with it. It was absolutely fantastic and so flattering. I am looking forward to using it again and again. I am planning on getting the Pearl and Imperial Topaz palettes as funds allow. Thanks for creating them Wayne!
Best ever advice Wayne!! I've been doing this for a while now, not knowing if it was right, wrong or indifferent. But for someone that struggles with small, hooded and oily eyelids, this is the only way I can wear eye make-up. You have put my mind at ease, thx Wayne 😄
Thank you Wayne!! So grateful I ever found your utube channel!! You have taught me SO much!! I have small eyes as well and I am aging so this tutorial has helped me so much!! ☺️👍💋
YES! I only recently understood, by watching RUclips videos and studying the eyes, why when I'd get my makeup done beauty counters I didn't really look as good as I'd hoped. I now know that I have very little lid space and the eyeshadow was applied as if I had a nice big "canvas" and therefore my eyes just looked too dark and deep, if that makes sense. Because of that, I just gave up on eyeshadow and only wear eyeliner. But I'm hoping this technique will help me join the ranks of eyeshadow wearers and up my style quotient. Thanks, Wayne!
You have given me the confidence to wear makeup again. My eyes are getting very hooded with age.. I’m 57yrs..I used to always do my eyes at least. It’s been so difficult for me to wear eyeshadow now so I started avoiding it altogether. You are my favorite makeup artist hands down .. thank you ❤
Thanks very much for this, Wayne. I always avoided putting on eye makeup because it just made my eyes look smaller, but I got a really good result this morning when I tried your technique. Thanks again. :)
I definitely need to try this 😱 I always get so frustrated doing my outer corner and I can’t get that nice clean angle and it never looks the way I want it. I have so many eyeshadows laying around that needs some love. And you’re right.. lashes applied at the outer end will definitely enhance it and give it more flair
I love you, Wayne. We are so fortunate to be able to enjoy both your professionalism and just beautiful personality on such regular basis . Kindest greetings to every Wayne Goss fans from Mette In Norway:) Have a brilliant autumn, everyone! xxx
Wayne really is the best teacher. I would really love to see some palettes 🎨 that you can buy in warm colours as I find Spring colours a little harder to find in dept stores. Thank-u Wayne 4 the great practical tips.
I love the way you explain things... have you done any of these for some one with glasses? .. both strong and mild prescriptions. Both change the look.
Wayne, thank you for doing tutorials for small and/or hooded eyes. I feel I have finally found techniques that place eyeshadow where it is most flattering for my maturing eyes. 😘😉
Hi Wayne, This is brilliant… I have small eyes and am never sure what to do with them. So thank you so much for showing us this technique… love it… love you… take care! Debbie
I enjoyed watching this video. Even though I do not have smal eyes I might try this idea to slightly extend the inside corner of my eye. I wear eyeglasses, so I'm not sure if this will work for me, but I'm going to give it a try.
I am definitely going to try extending the eyeliner inwards a little bit. I've never heard of doing that anywhere else. I don't actually watch that many makeup videos, or any videos really, but I find your videos professional and informative. Thank you
Came back after 3 years and l am glad l see Wayne aging well. I have followed him for a decade more or less, on and off and l have purchased some of his products, so it's nice to see his features reflect his age.
Actually if you wet a shimmer it makes it emphasize textured lids less. I'm 44 and I love glittery, metallic shadows. As long as I apply them wet and don't try to pack too much on it's fine. Also I've found that if my lid looks crepy then I just take the brush I applied the shimmer with (with no more product on it) wet the brush then smooth it over the lid. It smooths out the texture and I'm still able to wear the beautiful metallic goodness.
@@wendyschnapa7582 you're welcome!! Just make sure not to pack too much on the brush and wet it enough to make it basically a cream shadow. Then you can paint it on and it's so much smoother than applying them with a finger or dry brush.
