Hey! Thanks for your great review. There is a way to program an R3 button, see instructions below: 1. Hold the Victrix "X" Button and the PRO Button simultaneously until the LEDs begin flashing 2. Release the buttons when the LEDs begin to flash 3. Press the joystick to the Right to program the PRO Button to R3, or press the joystick to the Left for L3 Hope this helps and enjoy the Pro FS!
Would it be possible to release a driver update that allows you to rebind the microphone button/treat it as a pro button so you can have l3 and r3 bound simultaneously.
If you are not doing your own build the Victrix is the best you can buy thanks to curved brushed metal chassis. The only drawback is the lack of a noir layout. However the curved metal more than makes up for it and it’s also easy to travel with for tournament play due to its built in handles and size. Making it better to travel with than Qanba’s Dragon. Ive swapped the buttons out for GamerFinger buttons and I was using a Golden Lever, but wanted to try the Seimitsu Bullet and wound up using that in the Victrix and the GL for one of my own builds.
Does the stick work with PS5 *natively* ? That's something I would love to know because while all fight PS4 sticks can function on the PS5, They only work fully only on ps4 games. And when using a PS5 game, there is a 8 minute reset from what I heard. That's an expensive machine and we are going through console generation shift atm and I wanna future proof...
Yes it does. I’ve been using it on Guilty Gear Strive and Mortal Kombat 11 on my PS5. Retail licensed sticks all seem to work fine. The ones that don’t are the ones that use the Brook Universal Fighting Board. Currently it can only be used for PS4 games on PS5, but they are working on fixing it. I was hoping the fix would be a firmware update, but it looks like there’s another board you will need to connect the Brook UFB that’s being tested. Also there is no 8 minute timeout.
I just got mine a couple weeks ago. Its my first stick. I have trouble throwing hadouken towards the right though. Maybe the stick is too loose, maybe i should get octagonal gate, what do you think?
If you stick with it I guarantee you'll get it. I had trouble and considered the same thing when I was newer but I have no issues now on a square. I don't really recommend using an octo if you can avoid it. My friend did and we have run into SEVERAL instances where we needed to use each others' fightsticks but couldn't as we used opposite style gates. Also he ran into issues like at conventions... the arcade cabs always use square gate and he had issues playing on them just to name one example. That may be more specific to me though lol. If you really wanna use it go for it just know that octo isn't better than square or vice versa. Apologies if this reply is no longer relevant.
Price means nothing these days when it comes to joysticks. The only thing stock on em that ends up being fundamentally used at the end of the day is the casing after the insides get modded out. Could've did that with a $130 Quanba Drone.
thats pretty nutty, its defnitely premium with RGB and all that. But not something id go for. Im not really into fighting games, just find some games are better on an arcade stick. Blaster Master Zero specifically, that one is fantastic on an arcade stick.
I love my Victrix v1, put all crown buttons and a crown samducksa quick release korean lever in it. I had to carve some of the plastic out of the inside of the door to make the lever fit, but it looks like the new one has an indent under the lever for better fitment.
may i ask if anyone got issues about input lag when connected with pc? this joystick is perfect with ps5 but i feel input lag when it is with pc , any advice for fixing? thanks
My thought is the Qanba Pearl/Obsidian is perfect and anything more costly than that isn’t worth it. Qanba has a sale every Black Friday so I got my pearl for $150 new. I even put custom art on it. I’ve had a Qanba Dragon which is wayyy too heavy, I’ve owned a hori rap 4 which felt a little too cheap, and the hori fighting edge is nice but costly. I can’t really speak for Hitbox and mixbox type controllers
@@petebagwell6666 It was made during the ps4 generation but should work with Ps5 as a legacy controller since it’s officially licensed by Sony. Third party boards like brook are not supported but can be supported if you have the right Brook board and Ps5 extension to the board
Thanks for the review. It's pricey still though lol if only I had money to burn lol I would. At $350 man the premium touches are great but damn unless I ever see it on a sale, it's out of reach for me.
Good review! My guess is they are preventing programming the buttons so the stick doesn't get blacklisted from tournaments. Let's face it, this is aimed at the hardcore pro player that whants every millisecond advantage he can get 😀.
I had the worst experience with victrix and their after sales service. I would never buy from them again. What a joke of a company.. They only care about selling and marketing their products but dont expect getting spare parts. They dont give a damn about what happens to you after securing your precious money. Its been 2 years since my victrix pro fs pcb got busted and I opened 6 different tickets to get a spare one. I did exactly like what was stated on their pdp website about spare parts. The agents who I talked to said that they have a waiting list for all people who were waiting for a new pcb. But guess what, there was no waiting list to begin with and all were lies just to buy time till your warranty expires. And on top of that they made a new line of arcade sticks and hitboxes violet and white ones and never cared to fix the older ones stating that the old pcbs are out of stock and the new ones are not compatible with Ver1 and Ver2 pro fs ones. You are on your own after clicking that purchase button !! Beware people !!

Hey, I own a Victrix Pro as well. Worth every penny. I got mine via coupon discount.😊

@Anthony Drew Yup, been watching on flixzone for since november myself :D

I got the "Ken" versión of the stick, and I'm happy with my buy. Welcome to SFV btw 👍👍
Your channel is a class act, an add at the very end of the video? Class. Keep up the good work

got the brushed version one from them early on at combo breaker, it's a good travel stick, wish it had the touchpad like the update.

can the default joystick be replaced with a standard Sanwa JLX that doesn't use the link 2 shaft feature?

Thanks for the advice buddy. I really appreaciate it.
Hopefully, you got a coupon discount like I did for the newer version of the Victrix Pro.
I’m considering getting this joystick while all new consoles and gaming PC parts are hard to find.
Just got the guile street fighter collectors edition one. Man is this thing nice. I've only owned on other fight stick and I'm a fan.

I'm the same way! Got super into SF2 and DS again, and now it has me missing SF4, so ended up getting the Guile Victrix for SFV! Hahaha
I always come for the information, but men I always hope for some briar out of context!!!
the last one was so good!!! xD

Loved the video! This was super cool and informative!
I would leave the Sanwa JLF lever just the way it is and replace the Sanwa buttons with Hayabusa buttons because Sanwa buttons are oversensitive.
Hayabusa buttons are oversensitive in my opinion
@@petebagwell6666 I have a Hori Hayabusa arcade stick controller and the Hayabusa parts suck.

Good review! It looks awesome and makes me want it
Just bit the bullet on the purple version...hopefully the huge price was worth it, £349.99 UK 😲
Great review, thanks!
Is there any adapter to play on the xbox one too and other consoles?
As far as I know of, there's the Brook Wingman XB. It'll work with Xbox 360, Xbox One or Xbox Series X.
This was a great review
Is it $399 now? :O
Hi, is commpatible with ps5?

Anybody wondering this is available for Xbox too
This controller cost as much as my freesync, 100hz, 34" 3440x1440 monitor.
But, it's still preeetty cool.

I’m finding myself in the same situation 2022😂
I'm an idiot and decided to get this for my first fight stick. On the bright side, I won't be buying another fight stick!
Very pricy for this. Just what I'm looking for the PS5, But hel, the price.
Subbed
Zero mention of the terrible user support though.... And you call that a review?

Well it certainly sounds like you're getting your money's worth!
No.
easy enough to build your own for like $30
You're not building anything nearly as nice as the Victrix for $30🤣
