Hello, thanks for watching this. In this video i didn't do it but yes its better to remove the battery connection before making an upgrade.

Did you get HDD upgrade kit free with laptop? I did not get any with my Ideapad Gaming 3 4800H.

@@yasuosokifild8448 they normally come within the box that the laptop ships with, the kit is easy to buy but the cable to link the hdd to the laptop I don’t think you can find very easily.

If under warranty just to be safe sa authorized service center mo nalang ipalagay. On this model the upgrade kit is already included, but you can only buy this at Lenovo Service Centers.

Upgrade without disconecting battery ? laptop stil works ?
When you upgrade ur internals u shutdown ur laptop and disconnect the charger and everything you don’t need to disconnect ur battery

If u are careful it will b fine, just dont drop any metal in there. But of course its still safer to cut power from battery, it can b done in BIOS, no need to disconnect battery
