Por supuesto que la yerba paraguayo es 1000 veces mejor que la yerba Argentina, resulta que en Paraguay se añeja en un horno y no se mezcla con ningún árbol raro como se hace en la Argentina, como estos Argentinos fabricante de yerba le gusta joder a la gente mezclan un 80% de árboles raros y un 20 % de yerba, entonces sale cualquier cosa , yo vivo en EEUU la yerba Argentina es muy barata pero no compro porque es un asco y la yerba paraguayo es muy delicioso y es mucho más caro y por algo será , los Paraguayos te venden yerba mate pura y los Argentinos yerba mate mezclados con laureles o cualquier tipo de árbol , esa es la diferencia

Paraguay is my home country. Although I haven't been since before the pandemic. The outside hand washing stations are a new thing I believe because of covid 19. It's true that Paraguayans are among the happiest in the world because they are content with having little, they enjoy being around friends and family and drinking Terere (Yerba Mate) with them. Paraguayan cities also have the most trees out of any countries and the cities are generally clean compared to other third world countries.

Living in the United States pretty much my whole life , I remember visiting Paraguay 🇵🇾 for the summer . The people are so generous and happy 😊. There’s so much to see from that beautiful country, you would have to make more videos from the other side of Asunción which is more modern. The new port which is being built . The nature life of Paraguay is beautiful. It’s a small country but there’s so much more to see. I would love to visit Paraguay once again except this time take a month long traveling the country. I Encourage people to visit Paraguay and bring an American a lot of Americans are retiring in Paraguay due to the low cost of living and low crime rate . Great video ! Please do many more videos
Hello Frankie: I love your comment. Certainly. Paraguay it’s very interesting and exotic. I tried recording the ‘modem zone’ of Asunción (Aviadores del Chaco Avenue) but in my experience, it has no ‘human scale’ for a walking video. Also, all modern neighborhoods and malls looks the same worldwide.
I think it’s more interesting to focus in the old town. There are more people, more things happening, more strange things to see - I’ll return to Paraguay in a few months to record other areas of the city and different points of the country too 🙂

I lived in Paraguay 1874 - 76. They are such a delightsome people. I grew to love their food, music and their general attitude for life. I would go back in a heart beat. Thanks for taping the harp music. It almost brought tears to my ears to hear that song again. And yes, it was so hot in their summer time. Thanks for showing this.

¡Hola y saludos desde Texas! About 30 years ago, I lived in Panamá for 4 years. During that time, I took a trip to "deep" South America. I flew out of Miami, Florida to Asunción, Paraguay on Líneas Aéreas Paraguayas. That airline offered the best price at that time. There were just a few passengers on that flight, which was an interesting experience. The plane was mostly empty. Anyway, I spent a few days in Asunción, and I really enjoyed my time there! Nice people, good food and an interesting culture. I was surprised to learn that there was/is a sizable population of German Paraguayans. (Sprechen Sie Deutsch?) After 3 days there, I had to leave. My time was too brief. I just had a "taste" of Paraguay. After leaving Paraguay, I flew on to Buenos Aires and then to Santiago de Chile. After my quick trip, I flew back to Miami and then returned to Panamá. ¡Gracias Paraguay!

I can't believe it's been nearly 30 years since I visited Asuncion. Obviously I barely recognize anything in the video other than the plaza. Definitely met very friendly people, I regretted not spending more time there and a few days less in Buenos Aires. I'm black American and everywhere I went I got smiles and thumbs up from people asking "Brasileiro?" At first I corrected them, but after about half a day gave up and just answered "Si!" lol
Almost every foreign here is brazilian 😅
No podés imaginar lo fascinada que quede viendo tus vídeos, ver las mismas calle por dónde recorro mirando con asombro como si fuera un extranjera en mi país. Paraguay se ve hermoso, poca gente para poder transitar, pero demasiado calor para los que no estamos acostumbrados a ese clima. Acá por Perú, lo máximo que llegamos es a 30 grados y eso en verano, el resto del años lo pasamos entre 10 y 15 grados.

Hermoso País, he vivido entre 1975 y 1986 en Asunción, primero en el edificio monumental frente a la plaza uruguay y luego en el barrio de Villa Morra. Lo único que me deprime es ver la calle Palma sin gente y tan destruida. Recuerdo que los sábados a la mañana esa calle explotaba de gente y locales de primeras marcas. Lindo recuerdo el de la casa de la independencia, recuerdo cuando nos llevaban de excursión desde el Colegio Santra Clara. Que hermosos tiempos !!!

Watching this video took me back to 1975 when were doing a geophysical survey in the Gran Chaco (we discovered Agua Dulce). I enjoyed my time in Paraguay - lovely people & amazing ambiente. It was like living an adventure. However in mid summer the heat & especially the humidity in Asuncion was oppressive.

Due to the pandemic every store, restaurant, supermarket, etc. was required to have a faucet at the front door and people would have to wash their hands or they wouldn't let them in. Since the pandemic is almost over, it's not used anymore but in 2020 you could get fined if your store didn't have one.

A minha vida é a Harpa, sou harpista, sou Paraguayo de coração, falo guarani e espanhol e conheço praticamente todo o Paraguay, já andei inúmeras vezes por essas ruas de Asuncion e amo o restaurante de comidas típicas Ña Eustaquia, Lidos Bar também é muito bom e tradicional e recomendo se hospedar no Hotel Guarani que esta no centro de tudo...!!! Enfim Paraguay é tudo de bom...!!!

the atmosphere in this city seemed very calm and orderly. my compliments. this appears to be a land i'd like to visit. i tire from the stress and exaggerated pride of my land, and would like to dwell in a place with little crime or social confusion. i noticed there were many motorbikes on the streets but no loud motorcycle sound and angry honking motorists. thats good, because it shows a lot of respect towards one another, and an inner contentedness. keep that and God as your central focus and peace will abound. i cannot speak your language and am old now, but had i been younger and known about your nice land, who knows?

@@once.5746 Hola como paraguayo te recomiendo ir a asuncion para visitar lugares historicos luego si quieres puedes ir al centro financiero que es la zona que mas crece de asuncion tambien puedes visitar luque para entrar en el museo de la conmebol (si es que te gusta el futbol) generalmente esta casi vacio asi que tenes el museo literalmente para vos solo jajajajaja ah y no te recomiendo ir al centro de luque no es nada seguro. tambien puedes ir a san bernardino caacupe y pirayu si te da el tiempo que son pueblos chicos pero muy lindos y si te da mas tiempo puedes ir a encarnacion y a ciudad del este
