That was awesome, the way dealers should sell bikes. When i bought my Harley, i was allowed to take the bike for the weekend, allowed me to ride it, take my wife 2 up on it, look over and feel the bike in my garage. As it was a big investment, well not investment, but spend, was greatly appreciated. Put nearly 700klms on it over the weekend, took it back and purchased the same day. Its great to see dealerships going the extra mile and what keeps customers coming back and word of mouth gets new customers through the door.

I know that road well, the only time I came close to losing it was on one of those outside corners. Are there any bellbirds left ? Usually on the climb up from West Gosford. God, I loved their chorus. My misspent youth was spent honing up to Peats Ridge (V8 XY Panelvan, mid to late 70s) where my first girlfriend lived with her Dutch parents, they run a farm growing Zakinis, among other things, still can't stomach them to this day. I see you're at Yarramalong Turf, nice. Would have been a great ride. From what I read, the new Desert X is the real deal & setting the bar, if you have the cash.
Yes, it's a great road and you would have enjoyed it when it was still a 100kph road. The Ducati Desert X is a great bike, I'll be doing a full review on it soon.
@@ShonkyProductions Back in the late 70s there was no speed limit, police were seldom seen. After the freeway bypassed Mooney Mooney Creek bridge, it became a rider's road.
I went to a bike show in the UK, the only bike I found myself liking was the desert x, reasonably priced but I could not use it off road with my skill level, I'll stick with the CRF for now though
Why do youtube commenters feel compelled to name drop the content creator at every opportunity. Sean this, Sean that... they want to feel like they're on a first name basis with you or what? It's not just here mind you, I see this syndrome often on youtube.
I personally like it. I wanted to build a community feel to my channel and where possible, (if I can figure out their name) I like to replay with their name.

Curious why you wouldn't start at the Honda dealership.
I've had a Honda Africa Twin before, I want something bigger than the 750 Transalp so I thought I would see what BMW and Ducati have to offer.
