Our Speaker Medaim Yanık; After completing his medical school education at Istanbul University, he specialized in Mental Health and Diseases at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, and later became an associate professor in the field of Psychiatry and Diseases, by becoming a faculty member and head of the Department of Psychiatry at Harran University Faculty of Medicine.
Bakirkoy Prof. Dr. Medaim Yanık, who worked as the "chief physician and clinic chief" at Mazhar Osman Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital, also served as the consultant of the Minister of Health in the field of mental health at the same time. Our esteemed professor, who worked as a founding faculty member of the psychology department at Istanbul Şehir University between 2009-2015 and became one of the most successful names in the field of psychology, later became a professor and started his teaching career at the Psychology Department of Ibn Haldun University, where he still continues, in 2017.
