Hi, and thanks for the question. You should not need model releases, if you didn't aim to generate a celebrity or identifiable person. This is what Adobe says: "If the generative AI content was not based on a real person, but it visually appears to resemble a person, then you must click the "People and Property are fictional" box in the contributor portal to certify the people and/or property are fictional. If there are no recognizable people or property in the image or video, no release is required and you may leave the "People and Property are fictional" box unchecked. " helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/generative-ai-content.html
Hi, thanks for the detailed analysis of February :) interesting in your case are the 2 peaks of February 16 and 23, which clearly stand out on the chart among the other days of the month - on these days you earned more than 200usd. At my place, earnings on weekdays ordinarily are at very similar levels, to always fall drastically on Saturday and Sunday (but this is normal). Such sudden differences day after day for me basically do not occur (I had such a situation probably only 1 time). In my case, unfortunately, February was worse than January by 6.11%, and this despite an increase in the size of the portfolio by as much as almost 17%, so for me February was worse than expected. In addition, remember that January 1 after New Year's Day fell on a Monday, so in fact the difference in working days between February and January this year is only 1 day. Let's hope March will perform better.
Hi again! I definitely see the same weekend trends you mention. I had a few days in Feb that were unusual and bucked that trend which probably led to Feb being unusually higher for me. Here's hoping for a great March for everyone!
Someone recently told me that they were attempting to upload there and were told "They are gradually expanding their program and the number of contributors, with the aim of not diluting earnings for current contributors." They assured him that an invitation to join will be extended in the future. Hopefully if you have applied already you will see an invitation soon.
Hi, I have a number of videos that answer these questions. Check out my other monthly earnings reports, among other videos. My course also covers this in great detail. Best of luck!
Hello. I haven't used it in a few months so I believe it was 5. And 16:9 is the aspect ratio I traditionally use for my content, AI or otherwise. Thanks!
On Abode I have 606 photos, 40 illustrations, 7 videos. At Shutter 1313 photos, 23 illustrations, 8 videos. At Istock 1282 photos, 12 illustrations, 10 videos. And at Dreamstime and Deposit around 1150 and mostely 1 or 2 downloads a month.
you mean that I can upload the same image to several sites without any problems? For example Adobe Stock, shutterstock, freepik, etc? Thank you very much for the benefit you provide
i have some images can i submit them on adobe stock as a PNG format without removing background, the images are related to nature, flowers and animals or is it necessory to convert them to JPG and then uplaod to the adobe stock
Generally the value of a PNG for a customer is that there is a transparent background so the image can be placed onto another image or background and have that show through. I don't know if there is a rule forbidding a PNG retaining its background, but Adobe says this: "Do: Upload images with transparency. " helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/png-with-transparency.html "When submitting PNGs, be sure to upload images with transparency, crop away empty space around your images, and remove or minimize shadows. If you’re uploading images of people or objects, isolate each one and submit them individually." stock.adobe.com/pages/artisthub/learn/why-you-should-be-contributing-transparent-pngs-to-adobe-stock
Are you asking how to get my data in an Excel file, or how to download your own earnings data? For your own, you can view your earnings in your dashboard and click on Export as CSV in the upper right, then open that file in Excel. I hope this helps!
Glad you're seeing good results there. I uploaded some images there as a test and my number of downloads has been very small compared to Adobe Stock and even Shutterstock. I think the bigger negative is that if Freepik captures a lot of market share, Adobe Stock and other agencies will feel emboldened to drastically reduce their prices and pay contributors a tiny fraction of what we receive today. The "race to the bottom."
Hello sir, Last month I earned 110 dollars on adobe stock and my earnings increased every month but this month I only earn 13 dollars till 8 march this is the lowest in past 4 years is that normal or concerning??
Hi, thanks for the question. Some months being lower than others is perfectly normal. I wouldn't worry just yet, since we're just one week into the month. If you have a few months in a row of decline, then I would start to wonder why and look for possible causes. But for now, just know that some cyclical ups and downs are normal... it would be more unusual to have consistent growth without a dip. Best of luck to you!
hello, I have a problem with adobe stock, so I would like to know if you also have this problem: when I submit images with the list of my keywords, they are systematically modified after validation by adobe teams when the picture is online ...
Hi. Interesting question. I have not noticed my keywords being updated by Adobe teams after I upload. I will watch for this in my next batches. Thanks for sharing!
How new are they? Sometimes they can take time to catch on. And once they start building popularity they can start appearing higher in some searches and people may find more of your work. I can't promise this will happen for you but it's what happened to me. Also make sure your different topics are high demand topics? You are covering them differently than your competition and your keywords and titles are thoughtfully composed to help buyers find your work. Best of luck to you!
Hi, I do have multiple videos on what are the top selling images and themes... please see the other videos on my channel. And as far as how to make them, there are many methods -- AI (which I covered in other videos), 3d illustrations (which I created a tutorial for), photography, vector animation, etc. I hope this helps!
It's hard to answer the question. I would answer with this question... are we talking about high commercial value content (files that are in high demand with customers) or low commercial value. It could range from 1 file (if it's a topic in super high demand) to 100,000 if the content is in low demand. That being said, if you are creating in-demand content, I would say once you have a few hundred images online at a few of the better performing agencies (Adobe, Shutterstock, Deposit, etc.) you should start seeing regular sales. Seeing what sells the most will help you refine the type of content you continue to upload, and that should help you grow further. I hope this helps.

"Submit your generative AI image as asset type: Photos, if it looks like it was captured with a camera and features photo-realistic subjects that exist in real life and respect human and animal anatomy." Good point. I still don't like exclusivity on principle. Another great agency could pop up and you would be prevented from joining. If Adobe cut prices in half, or suddenly went down in a tailspin (not very likely) you would be stuck with them. I prefer to have multiple outlets. But if they offered it, I would at least consider it since they currently are the only big game around right now.
