    Another reason I like McGregor is from all the times I've seen clips of him listening or working out to music, it's obvious that the guy has good taste in hip-hop.

    Regardless of this upcoming fight and Diaz and whether he can actually beat him or not - just focusing on Conors form right now for a moment: it's immaculate. His stance, core strength, economy of motion and accuracy - he looks sharper than he ever was. We definitely haven't seen the best version of this guy yet.

    • @EviEhvee
      @EviEhvee 8 лет назад +2

      +BassFeline I think his best bet is to pace himself and go for the five round decision. If he can perform like he did in the beginning of the last fight but all 5 rounds then he wins.

    • @tmac6936

      +GreyCanvas no way. nate diaz turns up as the fight goes longer, conor slows down. if he plans on winning he needs to finish him in the first 3

    Can't wait for this fight, I've been watching this kid since the beginning.. every video and interview and during his walk out at 196 he looked off.. not focused, maybe he bought into his hype. I've never seen him this focused, I really think he is going to put on a show and maul Diaz. It's going to be great!

    • @jackenglish9258
      @jackenglish9258 8 лет назад +1

      Man I totally agree! Something about the full 196 fight week felt off! Maybe it was focus? McGregor said the loss made him re-evaluate what he was doing and I hope he's gone back to what got him here

    • @smithy3000
      @smithy3000 8 лет назад +1

      He looks bad cutting to 145, and 155 is his ideal weight as a fighter, but if he's a big 145 nate is a big 155, and conor might win this fight might not but either way 170 is too big for conor

    • @Silentstep66

    • @Sandy1970Dandy
      @Sandy1970Dandy 8 лет назад +1

      Rob Fournier
      Yeah, good call dude. I've often thought about Cain going to lhw. He is, perhaps, the only guy who could possibly beat a fit JJ at 205.

    • @levis569
      @levis569 8 лет назад +1

      +Rob Fournier I believe Heavy weights are totally different.The weight class alone is 205-265
      Once a man is over 205+lbs and fighting/ wrestling the size and strength are relative, cardio becomes a much bigger factor.
      With smaller men less than 200lbs weight, height/size strength are much more important and are taken advantage of much easier in these fights.

  • @specialK312
    @specialK312 8 лет назад +29

    even if Nate does beat him again this is solely due to the size difference because I feel that Conor is a better fighter than Nate pound for pound

    • @ClydeErwinBarretto
      @ClydeErwinBarretto 8 лет назад +6

      size difference? Then should people say the only reason why he won the featherweight division belt is because he dwarfs the fighters in that division. Conor McGregor fought at lightweight before he entered the UFC whilst Nate Diaz has fought almost his WHOLE career at lightweight and went 1-2 when he fought at welterweight. BOTH are lightweights.

    • @specialK312
      @specialK312 8 лет назад +2

      Clyde Erwin Barretto
      YES size difference and that IS the reason why he won the featherweight strap, Jose Aldo is a better fighter than Mcgregor pound for pound

    • @mck974
      @mck974 8 лет назад

      no way.. what are you smoking. nate is better in every catagory.. better boxing ... better ground game.. better cardio.. conor has flashy kicks.. and above average striking in general.. but I see nate and nick diaz as being on a completely different level.. they can take fighters into deep waters.. and thats' bad for Conor. he's a ko specialist.. not a deep fighter. he will lose again in my opinion.. but I love what he's done for the sport!

    • @MalphasMikaelson
      @MalphasMikaelson 8 лет назад +1

      Idk about that. Regardless Conor 1 punched K.O'd Aldo. Where as Conor vs Nate, Nate was getting his ass kicked. But it was clear Conor didn't understand that weight as the second round was a lot worse performance from him. I have to believe him being tired is true as the performance lacked after 1st round.

    • @specialK312
      @specialK312 8 лет назад

      Nate is definitely better on the ground but I don't think he is better at striking, to my surprise Conor was winning the entire bout despite Nate's reach advantage until he ran out of gas

      +rick rich lol not talking about cardio everyone knows the Diaz cardio is untouchable but you will see the difference in Nate that fight and this one and notice a difference he will not be getting lit up like he was, conors ego will not allow him to step off the gas so if he doesn't land a knockout blow inside two rounds he will drown again. Yeah and you think Conor was taking training easy for the RDA fight bahaha that's why he was obsessed with not doing media for 200 because he needs to work his ass off to the max to get his cardio where it needs to be but even that amount of time will not change the outcome

    I prefer Conor at lightweight. At anything above 155lb he sacrifices his speed, cardio and power fighting much heavier guys. Im aware he has had a full camp but I don't see it making much of a difference. Nate has had many more fights at 170 than he has and his body is accumulated to that weight. He could still win this fight if this fight were at LW I would give him the edge. Regardless this should be a fun fight.

    Conor Mc Gregor training Camp has cost Up to 300'000 US $.
    That's means that every middle class worker In the US with 3'000 $ a month will have to work about 8 years to pay for a Conor Mc Gregor Training Camp look like.
    8 years without having beeing make any others expense for living so you can easily extend the amount for this Working Camp cost to 16 years of work for any US middle Class Citizen.
    An ex Soldier, Veteran of US Army would have to serve 16 years in the US Force to pay for a Mc Gregor Training Camp.

      Connors at 175 or something and nates deffinately not weighing 200, him saying yeah was him trying to play games, he's at 185/190 max and he'll have to cut anyway to 185 to dehydrate to 170. Only a 10lb weight advantage. Something but not a huge deal like it would be in wrestling.

      +Sh4DowRider46 Nate is looking big saw him at the presser in July. He is 200 wait and see weight will be very obvious on fight night

      dont forget all that extra weight will also slow diaz down, conor has already said he is coming in lean and light, conor is gonna be much faster then diaz, if diaz moves forward and is the aggressor i see conor countering him all fight, to me this fight all depends on if conors cardio can hold up 5 rounds, unless he can somehow get the knockout.

      +WoodssM32 I agree with you to me Conor just isn't a 5 round fighter. I hope he wins just can't see how at the moment.

    conor has no right hand, literally a one handed fighter, he best find his jab for this fight. no practice on jab work off the back foot setting up counters, no work on check right hooks, one can only hope hes got a real student of the game teaching him behind the scenes.

    Im disappointed with McGregors decision to have a rematch with Diaz. Conor bit the dust in the first fight, no excuse, and expect the same outcome here. The only reason a rematch seems logical is for Mcgregor's financial benefit, but once he gets beaten and comes back down in weight to face a rejuvenated Jose Aldo he's going to beaten again like a rag doll.
    Conor is very unprofessional in his lead up to the first Diaz fight. He tells us he ate cheese cake and virtually lived on a staple diet of potato rice and steak. Of course even a change in his diet wont make a difference as hes only here for the money and a very unprofessional athlete imo.
    I dont see any way back for McGregor in his next 2 fights, as these are by far the murkiest waters Conor will swim.
    I just hope he doesnt get eaten by a great white.
