- Irish upstart Conor McGregor reveals how skill and mental strength have brought him success both inside and outside of the Octagon. He then journeys to Boston for a headlining bout that he's confident will be another victory.
McGregor at featherweight was something very special. The movement, speed, accuracy and above all else the mind he had at that weight was truly mythical.
He was still hungry & ambitious
& the reach advantage didn't hurt
@@merkins87 which didn't help James Vick. It's all relevant to who is using the physical attributes.
he was just a weight bully. He was fighting against midgets.
@@ozguraydn8407 Like Dustin couldn't do the same with his bigger frame? Like Conor handled Holloway? Like everybody said any wrestler would beat Conor in feather weight? In your logic, then why Not Paulo Costa dropped down to feather weight and dominates all? If anybody can drop down their weight and bully with it?
McGregor at featherweight was the stuff of legends. His smooth and aggresive movement, his timing and precision, his unorthodox techniques, his mental strength and focus... man, I wish we had more of that.
BULLYING THE FEATHERWEIGHTS. HIS NATURAL WEIGHT COMPETITORS WOULD CRUSH HIM
This Man... what an Inspiration, hope he finds his way back to this mindset
Lol 😂😂😂
A great piece of MMA history. So organic, pure and raw, real graft. A passion for learning and constantly in search of perfection.
Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ppl that say “I miss this Conor” “I miss this mindset” etc, don’t understand that he’s accomplished everything he’s wanted and then some. He also is still coming back to fighting. How does he not have a great mentality anymore when he’s worked his ass off to comeback from a snapped leg? Miss whatever you want but at least understand that HE changed mma forever and did everything he wanted and still wants more bodies
You can still understand all of that and miss the "old" Conor. You can see that his personality is not the same as it was. His trash talk used to be witty and funny before, now he rants more often. Also his style of fighting has changed. People aren't saying he's mentally weak now they are saying he was more focused back then, which made him a better fighter
Does he? Or is it ego?
Apparently, you don't understand broken bones and living the good life.
@@GoGetYourShineboxyeah Connor once said “partying is weakness for the soul” 😂
He accomplished everything that he manifested. First Irishman to win a UFC belt, first to win two belts in two weightclasses and made more than any UFC fighter has ever made in the shortest span of time. But then he lost the one thing that made him special: HUNGER
There won't be anyone like him for years to come. I hope to see you fight again soon!
this is Conor mcgregor, the man who change ufc. the notorious.
This is incredible footage. This guy's athleticism, skill and determination were extremely impressive. No wonder he rose to the absolute top of the game.
Yes, WERE. Past tense
It’s so crazy the focus needed for any fighter to just get in that cage.
So much traveling, obligations, interviews, while still staying focused in the gym just to prepare for a 25 minute fight. Legendary
One of the most inspiring figures of my generation, a very polarising but undeniably inspiring person
5:54 love it
I love this documentary.. please do the 6th also.. I watched all ye! Great job
These vids are great ! 👍🏼
The best years of Conor imo
i’m so happy they posted another part to this
7:32 A Young Marvin 'the Italian Dream' Vettori ?
Conor has very open personality and people love it ))
Thanks for these.
It's intriguing to look back on how he responded to fan attention before. It looks like he genuinely enjoyed it. IMO, too much attention from people - and especially when the people want it for their own benefit rather than out of being a fan - well that is going to change how to respond to the attention. Among all of Conor's questionable behaviors, I don't begrudge him at all for reducing his openness and friendliness to strangers. I know I would do that,
Best MMA Featherweighr of all time! ❤
Finally part 5
Great documentary. See the real Connor and he is a nice guy. Full of goodwill and life.
This is years old, was aired on Irish television in a Channel called RTE. good series.
This is simultaneously inspiring and heartbreaking to watch.
1:36 McGregor walkin in.
I doubt Conor’s Training like this anymore what made him great was the looseness in his body and mind hope we see him at the top again these next years
Very inspirational blokes up the Irish ❤
Cmon conner son we are eagerly awaiting your mistic mac return. RETURN OF THE MAC. 💗
This is awsome,, thanks to the guy or girl whoever upload thiss
Miss this kid
I love Connor so much.
Upload part 6
I wish this version of him is here once again, money really changed him
When he was most natural and motivated.
Where is part 6
young conor was a legend
This was the Conor, you can see a lot of influence of Ido Portal in his training
hard to believe Dustin came back from that whooping and beat him several times.
Poirier has been way more active. He had thirteen more fights in the interim and won ten of them. After McGregor fought Alvarez he sat out for nearly two years. With gaps of a year or more between fights, while other guys are grinding, the gap closes eventually. In the decade that McGregor has been with UFC he's spent a lot of time sidelined, even before the leg-break. Two years between fights, over a year until the next one, a gap of another year after that, and he's been sidelined for another two years with an injury.
@@greg9291 all hat down time was a big mistake
FW Mcgregor was when he was at his best! Hungry, ambitious and 100% dedicated, he lost that at LW! Don't get me wrong he had a coupled of great performances but I still say the guy just wasn't big enough for the division. Khabib and lots of others were cutting from 190lbs down, Mac was low 170's at the time, it makes a massive difference in the hardest division in the sport. Amway, I believe his prime has passed, it was short but tremendous. I say retire now whilst your legacy is still great, don't be the guy who just keeps loosing and loosing but your ego won't allow you to retire. Long live the King.
Keeps loosing??? Conor has not had a single loos, ever! Aside from that, I agree with you.
@@JumpingWatermelons he lost to Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier twice once when he broke his leg the 3 rd fight got KO'd
@@JumpingWatermelons lol wut
Lost Diaz 1
Lost Dustin 1
Lost Khabib
Could say he lost Dustin 2 but that was doctor's stoppage so...doesn't really count
Very few people realize how influential Rickson Gracie is to Conor Mcgregor.
What are those from?
miss this Conor
Please part 7🔥🔥♥️
Ma Maaaayn! Came, saw, conquered.
Music at 9:30 ?
That lil boy at the end is the current155 Cage Warriors champion.
George Hardwick? He's 26 right now. Are you thinking of someone else?
This video is a martial artist power house
Post the next episode please
Part 6 plss 🙏
12:38 little surroundings checking
Part 6 plsss
where did he find this clips, is this a new documentary or?
Conor Mcgregor before his old man knees.
this version of conor would hate conor now
Power of manifestation 😊
Need more
thats conor that we've miss but after that he is gone
Is this the last part?
what time is it? my time? hahah classic
when is this footage from?
Was that Ian Machado Garry at 10:00 ish
⭐️⭐️🍀
While everything becomes routine after a while, Conor was clearly extremely grateful back then & humbled at the support he was getting. Looking back, it's honestly sad to see the person he's become.
zzzzzzzz
He's still successful, it's just other businesses now. U can't fight forever
lol where is this guy
Part 6 pla
it sad he became stiff, he was so fucking fluid, truly water. that boxing match made him billionaire, but the fucked the mma part.
Without him winning anymore why are these videos coming out? He’s losing his legacy as a fighter, not as a performer.
9:00
Dee : whats my title?
Conor thinking : who the foook is that guy 😂
His mindset used to be so different. Always talking about skill incline and decline, it sucks to see he's become the total opposite.
Whaat ? hes achieve total greatness he became a double champ of 2 weight classes he owns lots of multi million dollar businesses what else should he achieve? ...go get the belt again i presume ? when you youve had 2 belts in 2 diff weight classes whatever he does will never surpass those achievements he made MMA one of the biggest sports in the world when before it was only diehards who watched it its now mainstream ... he'll be forever cemented in history give the guy a break should he not be living his life and enjoying his hard work?
he was so much passionate about this sport sad that his success burned his mind
5:20 that little kid is probably on social media calling everyone casuals because they haven’t met mcgregor smh
All the Irish ☘️ og fans that keep getting called casuals
By the mad 🐀 fans 🙏🏻🇮🇪🙏🏻
made for hollywood not for real sport
That juicing aint gona help much for all that flexibility he's on about 😅
like vultures, even with a flashlight they go shopping. Anything you can get in 1 minute. Did you at least give that to some homeless people.
Funny how he calls Dennis a chest and a juicer. Have you seen Connor lately, and no USADA drug test for a year. Looks like Connor went the Dennis route. Funny to see people put their foot in their mouth
Precision beats power
And timing beats speed
-Mcgregor
Just an arrogant actor now.
#africa_toto
Awoosome vedeo brother
its Funny listen to him now talking about juice
Sadd
#nautilus_shindy
#aus1wird10_zuna
Get in get rich get out -
Done and dusted -
Fuck the haters - Conor did it
❤
The greatest featherweight WARRIOR of the modern era
Lol 😂😂😂😂
THE KING
His sparring partners seemed more competitive here, unlike the ‘yes men’ he has the past few years.
These are so good... great job UFC...please keep them coming!
this version of him is what I inspire to be like, I use a lot of techniques he used back then in my almost daily sparring and training and i absolutely love the sport, only sport I've ever been naturally talented at so I hope one day I can walk around my home town and be asked for pictures and have even a small local fanbase would be incredible!
Loving this series and looking forward to part 6!!
What time they will put the part 6
People like to make fun of Ido Portal, but the whole movement and locomotion trainjng of the body really helped connor move fluidly. Literally like water. Connor’s balance during his apex times was next level. Watching him always reminds me to do some yoga lmao. Doing too much mma, grappling and strength and conditioning really leaves one rigid
Who makes fun of Ido? Fools
conor should watch this series back to contemplated what he achvied. This series is answer of conor strength. speed , accuracy reaction, reaction movement, elastic body like athlete gymnastic
Back when Connor was purely obsessed with the game.
I respect how McGregor takes care of his body and stays fit. I think Fatty McPatty is going to get his clock cleaned.
I started watching ufc because of you and I stopped becouse of you , hope at least one more time too se you in that cage
Conner was super a grappler so when he took a shot he was so accurate so fast and when he caught you with that left hand it was by by dazzling daz 💪🤘🙌👅😎
BTW this whole notorious documentary is the bomb 💣. Thoroughly entertaining. Thanks creator 💞
You owe it to the clan. The ancestors. You were given a head start. It's godly
Still waiting for part 6&7etc..💪🏽🔥
It's a shame Khabib didn't fight a prime, focused, in best shape, hungry, determined, Mcgregor.. The one that beat Eddie and Chad... The story could've been different. 😑
