That's the fullest 20 watt amp I've ever heard. Shocking how balanced the lows / mids / highs are at high gain.
Wouldn't the low wattage be more apparent in the room than on recording anyway? So many famous songs have been recorded with tiny amps. (huge ones too, obviously)

very, very rarely am i taken aback by a youtube video of an amp, as really most of the time you have to hear it in real life to really get it. this is one of the fullest sounding, most gainy but also full of clarity amps I've ever heard
This song has GOT to be on your next release. Nice set up with that synth part at the beginning. I loved the composition and the dynamics you got in such a short demo. A full length song will be epic. Either get that amp back or do more demos for Carsten and take that amp as payment. Maybe a Billy Corgan guest spot..? Great job, Pete!

That is so ridiculously good it hurts. Both the intro track and the amp kicked my ass out the door........brilliant.
A couple of comments: First great song, very different than usual! Very creative, I really liked it. I know Brian Carsten all the way back from before CME and then moved my business with him there. He had done a number of mods on my amps making them perfect for me. He is the man!

Very cool. Broadly speaking, it seems like there are two types of guitar players- 1- The player who is focused on technique and does not care about fiddling with tone (Angus Young, Dave Mustaine). 2- The tone fanatic who does not care as much about technique(Kevin Shields). Corgan seems to be the rare third type who is meticulous about both (Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen)
I often wonder why Marshall doesn’t release a new flagship. With plexi look. But the controls are digital. Analog signal of course. With lots of channels and modes etc. it would have the look but be ultra versatile

It sounds like it always has some power amp distortion... is it a master volume? maybe a post phase inverter master volume?

Luckily there arent any bad demos of this amp. Its basically plug and play and sound awesome! Well...theres not really ANY real demos of this amp yet.....YET. I should be getting mine soon so Ill probably pop one up on the tube just to say I did.
I can hear Diezel amp sound in this Billy Corgan's signature amp. He played Diezel VH4.
I have his VH4 upstairs. It rips.

Billy Corgan uses an Ampete switcher live to switch between the Carstens amp, Laney Supergroup and a third amp that I can’t currently remember. All three heads run into the Ampete and he switches between them with an RJM GT-16 floor controller.
Carstens Grace/Laney/Orange/Ebo (Del Rio I think)
He uses variosu heads but they all go through an oversized Laney cab from the 70ies which they recently re-released.

I just saw pumpkins, headline Hollywood Bowl recently, so… Still relevant. And the new album is really quite cool.
The Smashing Pumpkins have over 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify and just headlined in South America, about to headline in Australia and then after that have a headlining tour in the states.
The only thing that's not relevant is your little 40 view sloppy Rocksmith covers and Star Wars gameplay..
