ഉപനിഷദ് ദൈവം - God of the Upanishads - Dr C Viswanathan .This latter part of the presentation on the worldview of vedanta and science -second in a series of presentations on Vedanta by Dr. C.Viswanathan -, examines the arguments supporting existence of god, as elucidated by proponents of Vedanta. The first mantra of Ishavasya Upanishad, as explained by a widely respected Kerala monk is critically examined here. Perhaps not too surprisingly, these Hindu arguments for existence of god does not differ much from the more widely known classic Christian theistic arguments, like (a) the natural law argument, (b) "unmoved mover/ "uncaused cause" argument, or (c) the argument from design .All these arguments fall flat when examined in the light of of modern scientific understanding of nature..Organized by Kerala freethinkers forum On 16.07.2017 at Childrens Park Mini Theater , Ernakulam
