Guillermo seems to be such a nice guy in person.
He is. Del Toro is one of the few filmmakers in Hollywood that possess actual talent and is very passionate about his work.
Love his answers... "it is a personal boundary...." and I loved his movie Crimson Peak.
I can't even deal with horror but I absolutely love this

Guillermo knows his stuff. The Mexican directors are doing the most exciting work. (I'm not forgetting Paolo Sorrentino, though) Alejandro González Iñárritu, (Birdman and what looks like one of the best films for 2015, The Revenent), Alfonso Cuaron, Gravity, (and the best Harry Potter film, Prisoner of Azkaban) and the director of Sicario, Denis Villeneuve, who is scheduled to direct the Blade Runner sequel. This man is a GENIUS and has given me hours of blissful distraction from medical procedures. His movies are so engaging, his use of color masterful and he has the psychological down pat. A modern day Hitchcock. Yep, I said it. I meant it.
