i read somewhere that the way the way they came up with the name 'Chumbawamba' was apparently from a word that was typed out by a monkey during one of those 'infinite' typing-away-on-a-typewriter experiments. i'm guessing that's the way they came up with their lyrics too
They came up with a nonsense name because they didn't want some pretentious and edgy shit. All of their explanations of how they got their name are jokes.
I finally found this song, the last time I heard it I was about 9 years old (I'm 27). This makes me very happy!
