When I first married in 1963 I thought it would last forever Joe. Life is a funny old thing and it took me till marriage number 3 before I finally met the one who was my soulmate. 'The road not taken" does lead us to where we were meant to be. Hang in there Joe, make firm friends with other boaters and find the life that was meant for you. And now, I am slowly starting to heal and feel optimistic again (until I suddenly don't feel optimistic and I hit bottom again). I was moored opposite that old wooden boat all last winter. There was often someone staying on it, maybe a liveaboard. So I was very sad to see it had been carried through the bridge by a flood and sunk. I hope the owner hasn't lost everything.

Welcome to my home town. Plenty of great local beers, Purity is on a farm just outside of Stratford upon Avon, UBU is named after the farm dog (Useless Bloody Urchin), they have a good selection especially the Pale Ale. Try Church Farm Brewery and Fosse Way brewing Company. You have stopped in supermarket central there is a Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Aldi and Lidl all within a stones throw of each other. Royal Leamington Spa got its Royal from Queen Victoria over 150 years ago, there used to be a few Spa’s where you could take the waters hence the Spa title but all closed down years ago. There used to be a tap where you could sample the water (hideous full of sulphur). When you get to Warwick stop at the Cape of Good Hope nice food and right on the canal. Plenty of 14 day moorings around there before you have the 21 locks of the Hatton Flight, quite often lockies on but give us a shout if you want a hand up the flight. Takes a couple of hours at least. And nice little cafe just before top lock if you get there in time. Great breakfast and good cakes.

2:58 I was doing scaffolding on the building site on the left (HS2) last week, I seen a couple of narrowboats passing by, and never knew the canal was that close! Would be great to see you passing by one of of the canals at some point mate! All the best

After watching all you did with your ecoflows, I convinced my husband we needed one for our business to power our AV equipment when we go offsite/to outdoor venues. Lots of people have been very interested to see what he’s using, and he’s been very impressed with the performance. We also take it away when we go camping. Being in Australia, we have lots of sun so we find it recharges pretty fast from the solar panels, and it runs my husband’s cpap machine, a few fans and charges all of our devices overnight. We’re very happy customers so thanks for the recommendation Joe!

I've seen an Italian nan making focaccia and the amount of olive oil they used... Oh boy proper Italian focaccia is rich. I had indigestion after dinner. She used an entire bottle of olive oil... That's not including what was on the table for dipping.

You could put the washer on a cold wash, but pour in hot water heated on gas.
And save using battery up for heating the water.
