I looked around for your video for the wheel install with these but couldn't find it. Did you end up needing spacers for the wheel to clear the caliper? If so what size.
I do run a 1/4” spacer on the front. Thanks for watching.
What offset are your wheels? I want to make sure mine will clear the caliper before I do this mod.
@@TheDavidDailey the front wheels are 18x8.5 +30 I have a 10mil spacer
How is the brake feel after the change?... Did you end up doing the rears too?
I’ll Brakefield is awesome and yes I did rear disc brakes on the back, on the rear, I put 03 cobra rear disc brakes

I’m loving them, what a difference over stock braking. You can get custom stickers from @sinisbuilt on instagram.
did you paint the surface of your rotor?
@@PTShakey yes I do to get the holes black and then the brake pad take it back off

Nice job, showing what has to be done. I’ve been thinking about getting these calipers for my 85 SVO. I’m still gathering up parts, so I’m not quite ready for this addition. Thanks for sharing
Did you do this on your SVO? I have an 86 SVO and want to do this too, but I think I need to swap the brake master cylinder
@@bullet2096 no not yet, I decided to drive mine with the stock SVO brakes. I still may still do this swap though. At the moment I’m in the process of repairing it, from a crash. I had an accident a few weeks ago, but it wasn’t due to the brakes. I made a rookie mistake and tore up my door and fender. I have a video of my car on my RUclips channel.

I will eat you know soon I didn’t get it finished before PITS and then found a crack in the factory hard line. Should be finished up this week and out for a test drive.

Did the wheels clear?
They needed a 3/16” spacer

I bought used cobra spindles that came with rotors, $300, the new calipers and pin kit I bought on Amazon $270. The S&S conversion kit is around $200 and I also bought new brake lines from stifflers $119 and then new pads from advance $100. It was right under $1000.

It’s not bad at all, look up a brembo or one of the others for a fox specific kit they are well over $2000
Can you please tell me how wide is the caliper?
I’m not sure I would have to measure it.
@@HicksHouseVideos thanks. Just trying to figure out wheel options. The depth or thickness would help. I already have the PBR option and these look much thicker. Need to know what size offset wheel depending on thickness of this caliper
My wheels are +30 with a 3/16” spacer
@@HicksHouseVideos great my wheels are 24 offset. They should work without the spacer. Right now I have 1” gap between PBR calipers and the closest wheel spoke. Also how does the braking feel?
Braking is really good.
