I install these on my 88 Mustang gt stock spindles? I’m doing a 5 lug upgrade from LMR.
just get a spacer They will move your wheel out. Get quarter inch.

They're Brembo, so not really GM. but GM has alot of good stuff.

What are wheel specs?
Could you shim the caliper inward and delete shim on hub to get your clearance?
I tried that and unfortunately that didn’t work!

I found the brake lines recommend were too short. Which lines did you go with.
Wonder if a thin wheel spacer would give enough clearance
I actually did use a 1/4 spacer and it did work but it make the wheel stick out past the fender more than it already did. Cosmis makes the same wheel with a different back spacing and it worked out!
Glad I bought mine when I did. :) That seller is asking $370 to your door, right now. I got mine from him in June 2020 at $250 free shipping... BUT he emailed me the next day saying he was refunding $50 as he was literally like an hour from marking them down. What a bro!
...now I'm not saying they've been installed, LOL, :( , but I got them. :)
Summit racing sells them for around $150 each. I think one side was a couple bucks more then the other.

Have you finished the install and able to drive it around with another set of wheels? What master cylinder/booster are you planning on running?
Yup, Cosmis makes the same wheel in a different offset so it worked out. I’m still running the factory 80 booster and master cylinder and I got good pedal feel and everything.
@@shannonduggan4143 my 85 booster is still in the car but I’m using a 93 cobra 🐍 master cylinder and no issues at all.

What brake line did you install?
I have a 87 with stock brakes all around… looking to convert from what I am understanding for the fronts I need the SN-95 spindle, this brake kit, S&S kit and that brake line? Or are there any more modifications I need?
Also do you know what the offset is needed for the brake to clear?
You need a 94-95 spindle (96-04 will work just wheels will poke a little more) and then everything I included in the video. You can do without the likes and use factory lines just get new copper washers
I did this swap on my 86. Do you know which wheels fit over the brembo’s?
I don’t. I got rid of the brembos because I didn’t didn’t want to narrow my wheels options

Would rather go with different brakes then different wheels or make my wheels fit via shorter a arms and spacers. Just me. To each his own.

Why not just get your wheels milled a little so they have clearance? I'm sure it wouldn't be too much that has to be taken off in a certain area.
Because nobody around here does that. I just swapped back to the cobra brakes

My big thing was it narrows your wheel options significantly and I like the wheels that are on it now and didn’t wanna give them up

Not true. I had 17 inch bullitt wheels that worked for them
I love foxbodys, that being said…my 89 is LS swapped. So why is it ok to put GM brakes on a fox but everyone freaks out if it has a GM motor?
They are brembo brakes sold to GM with a caddy sticker. Not manufactured by GM.

It’s weird my 17x4.5 race stars fit with plenty of room. I just bought 17x8 and 17x9 bullitt wheels and the 17x8s don’t fit the front. The 17x9s do. The brembos work great though. Absolutely no complaints other than wheels fitting. I really would have rather ran 17x8s in the front but whatever.
It’s all about backspacing!
@@cobrabuilt yes sir. My mastiff is a male version of your mastiff. They’d make a great pair. He has almost every color carhartt jacket also. They really are awesome dogs. Harmless and loving always by my side. Unless someone tries to walk through the gate.

I did not. I swapped back to regular cobra brakes
