in Advanced question , both Draining company resources and diminshing employee productivity is in Gerund form , So, According to me it is better choice .
And according to your explanation it would be -
draining company resources ......... and draining diminishing employee......
DOUBT:both is used for draining and diminishing so both should come before draining and corrsponding to company resources , employeee should be employees at 14:10
I agree with the first part both should be before but employee is right see how it is company instead of company's and employees would be wrong either way if something it could have been employees'
Yes i agree with u
@@justakapil3193 yes i also agree with you.
Sir if any error please post it officially here after reconsidering the video.because its so confusing for students after viewing the comments posted here.sir please make it clear.

The original sentence expresses the main verb “attended” in the past tense and the two subordinate actions in the form of the gerund. This construction correctly indicates that “receiving” and developing” followed as a consequence of Einstein’s attendance of “the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich.”
(A) CORRECT. This answer choice is correct as it repeats the original sentence.
(B) This answer choice breaks the correct parallelism of "receiving" and "developing" present in the original sentence.
(C) This answer choice expresses all the verbs in the underlined portion in the same form: “attended,” “received,” and “developed.” This change alters the original meaning of the sentence by making these actions independent and sequential rather than demonstrating that “receiving” and “developing” occurred as a consequence of the fact that “Albert Einstein attended the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich.”
(D) This answer choice makes "attended" and "received" parallel, leaving "developing" as a subordinate action. This change alters the meaning of the sentence, as described above in the explanation for choice (C). Moreover, there is no "and" between "attended" and "received," as there should always be between the items in a two-item list.
(E) This answer choice creates an incomplete sentence that lacks the main verb and consists merely of a series of gerunds: “attending,” “receiving,” and “developing.”
Thankyou so much sir for this profound help..I'm preparing for IPMAT Indore and your videos are really very helpful.
Sir, in question 2 of beginner level practice questions, SLENDERNESS is a noun, whereas SLENDER is an adjective. So shouldn't the wrong part be slenderness? ".....dead twigs, being long, slender, wingless & brownish in color" Won't this be the correct answer? Kindly help.
Yes Chinmay, you are absolutely correct...every word long, slender, wingless & brownish need to be adjectives....The answer should be C....Thanks for pointing that out
@@arindam3 thank you sir for helping!
@@arindam3 sir, Everyday i watch many popular tv channels, including those which are populaw and which are non popular. This seems to be preety worded to be correct ! pls help
I also felt the same
Thank you so much sir.❤❤
Really, these was so helpful for me ,those students who are not joining coaching class these is the best platform....❤️👍and I am one of them 🙏
this**** in place of these as these is plural and it doesnt rectify your sentence in proper way
Brother did this playlist cover your whole English syllabus for CAT?
In question 1 of intermediate level. Isn't the second 'which' is a non Essential word. We can write it as 'which are popular and not popular'. Correct me if i am wrong
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
These sessions have been very useful, Sir, thanks so much
please upload the similar type of questions in pdf for practice.
Yea
i really like it sir . your way of teaching is really amazing sir .Before this i was watching a lot of videos but i was unable to understand but you explain me everything clearly thank you so much sir now i will complete whole videos english m koi error hoga to maaf kariyrga sir😀😀
sir, slenderness is a noun while slender is an adjective, correct me if I'm wrong.
14:28, shouldn't the answer be A because it correctly compares - Both draining and diminishing- however in B it compares - both company resources and diminishing? kindly help
I think so too. It cannot be "draining" both company resources and "draining" diminishing productivity. Or else, in option B, it should have been "draining both company resources and employee productivity" (eliminating "diminishing" completely).
I was searching for this comment only 👍
(B) This choice incorrectly places "both" after the word "draining" such that the two elements in the expression "both x and y" are not logically parallel. The expression "both x and y" now reads "both company resources . . . and diminishing employee productivity." The second element ("diminishing employee productivity"), unlike the first element ("company resources"), is a way in which spam has hurt companies. The "draining" of company resources, not the "company resources" themselves, has hurt companies. Moreover, the two items in the expression are no longer structurally parallel: the first element is a noun phrase ("company resources") whereas the second element is a gerund followed by an object ("diminishing employee productivity").
So, answer should be A.
gmatclub.com/forum/unsolicited-electronic-junk-mail-also-termed-spam-has-hurt-companies-193461.html#:~:text=Parallelism%22%20Revision%20Project.-,Unsolicited%20electronic%20junk%20mail%2C%20also%20termed%20spam%2C%20has%20hurt%20companies,problem%20and%20diminishing%20employee%20productivity.
SO the correct answer is A, right!
i think it also depends upon the context. we do not need to blindly follow the rules.
Sir , in the 2nd question you have used some insects while you said some is plural then there should be insect not insects...
If i wrong then tell me what is right
at 4:41 shouldnt the answer be .....i love reading books which is a good habit and should be followed by all ?
Need the notes in the form of pdf
Why both comes after company can you please explain ?
just a few minor errors. overall it was a good lecture.
Sir In Beginner level que.2nd brownish in colour
It is parallel structure and there is no need of saying that brownish in colour. Only brownish is Enough
So the answer might be 4
In question 2, there should be slender instead of slenderness. That is the only error I found. Please correct me if I am wrong.
The beginner level question about reading books. The answer should be option 3. Not 4. Kindly help.
Yes
Yes you are right
yes I also think so
We can also write , popularity of football is more than THAT OF cricket. Will this be correct? In intermediate level Q1 B
yes this is correct
at 3:10, after correction sentence becomes;
The question here is not of autonomy but of devolution power to grass root level.
Is this correct?
Correct Sentence: The question here is not of autonomy but of devolution of power to grass root level.
The error is in part 2.
The correct sentence should be-
The question here is not autonomy but devolution of power to grass root level.
@@vidushipragya1329 Sure?
Sir the question that you solved at 4:43 is correct but the option was wrong??
The answer ideally should be 3rd option right
Sir you skipped one last set of intermidiate questions before moving to the advanced one's
A and D
what is the answer to the third intermediate question? (the one sir skipped)
i think its the first option A & D.
@@kamalkishorebajaj143 how is D correct? C should be correct imo

Sir u haven't solved last question of intermediate level which was of Spencer white horses.........
Pl somebody tell me a solution of that question
NO
A and D options are correct
A and D
@@siddharth_damke6484 how is D correct? C should be correct imo
This faculty seems to be in pressure.

A. ✓
B. Correction: The teacher told her students that they should spend at least half an hour playing basketball, two hours doing their homework, and one hour watching BBC.
C. Correction: Having her homework completed, she played tennis with her friends and later watched a late-night movie.
(NOTE: The question has an improper format. As we are not allowed to make format-related corrections, the first correction is lowkey wrong.)
C. Actual Correction: She played tennis with her friends and later watched a late-night movie as she had completed her homework prior.
D. ✓
I guess D is not correct
The sentence should be, "hamlet, the prince of Denmark, made up his mind to serve the people rather than to commit suicide".
Here in this sentence an infinitive is being compared to a gerund.
So the answer should be None of these
@@tyagig4543 Whenever 'rather than' functions as a preposition, the subordinate clause is used in its present participle form. Therefore the verbs in the sentence are not parallel. So, D is correct. Also, 'rather than to' is an incorrect construction.
THE ANSWER TO INSECTS RESEMBLING TWIGS IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT SHOULD BE SLENDER INSTEAD OF SLENDERNESS.
Will this video can help me in CAT
I have been checking answers for the question at 2.26, found option 3 to be correct one.
Correct sentence would be -Some insects bear a remarkable resemblance to dead twigs, being long, slender, wingless, and brownish in color.
YESSSSS. I PAUSED N CHOOSE THE SAME ANSWER. WHEN HE SAID BEING. I WAS LIKE NO WAYYYYYY. WE ARE RIGHT BRO.
Bro, from where have you checked these answers?

Few mistakes..
15:34 you marked option D as correct one but told C as correct!!
Every single solution seems debatable to me... why is it so confusing. Even different english professors are giving different answers for the same question 🙂. RIP
This is kinda confusing.
sir the answer for this question "Unsolicited electronic junk mail, also termed spam, has hurt companies by both draining company resources used to combat the problem and diminishing employee productivity.
"

b is the right answer..
There are some issues with ur solutions. I do not agree with all of them. I may be wrong, but the mistakes are very obvious.
