    6.11 Sir option A says "Passing disparaging comments on a colleague's integrity invites severe and equally intense backlash. "
    So, if we ask here - "What" invites? The answer will be "Passing disparaging comments" , not just "disparaging comments"... Nd "Passing disparaging comments" is an act, which is singular, so it will take singular verb. Hence option A is a correct sentence. Right?
    Nd I'm unable to understand the meaning of option B. - "Many a bright boy..." ???
    Can you please explain?

    • @chaitanyathyagi7360

      I may sound weird but , we have to ask here (what) Inviites sev........ backlash , Those are the Disparaging Comments, Not the passing of those comments,Passing doesnt effect the integrity of collegues, The disparaging nature of the comments does. IDK i hope i am making sense. Also if in case if it feel right , The second sentence has no area of doubt it is absolutely correct , so you have to go with the option containing B. • @chaitanyathyagi7360
      @chaitanyathyagi7360 3 года назад +3

      for any sentence correction question, first understand the meaning of the sentence. don't follow subject verb agreement rule blindly. The verbal part is to test your ability in comprehending sentences, not to test your grammar skills. Once you are able to deduce the meaning, then it becomes easy for you to trace errors present in the sentence.

    In Q3, conjunction are used( a team of doctors and medical researchers), so from that logic And is plural and it should take plural verb I.e have been!
    Kindly explain?

      I would have been from the and logic if we weren't given "team". They are talking about a team which has doctors and medical reaserchers. So the emphasize is on a team .
