In intermediate level question of professor, why option b is not correct as it satisfies modifier in correct place and proper meaning of sentence
13:00 Erasmus' should be there instead of Erasmus's ,so we should pick option e as the answer no matter how worded that option is

Can anybody please explain me the 2nd question
there are 2 ways of using ' distinguishes' .
1- Distinguishes between x 'and' y.. here while using between with distinguishes it has to be followed by 'AND'
2- Distinguishes x 'from' y.. here using just distinguishes i.e without between, it has to be followed by 'FROM'
Considering this, B,D,E will be eliminated because they dont follow this basic structure.. you can't say- distinguish between x 'from' y.. and vice versa. So A and C left of which A has the word 'their' which is wordy therefore C is the answer.
