Tobias also played here and had come full circle to share his playoff knowledge with these young guys. He checks all of the boxes we want in a vet. Also high character, never misses games and cares able playing both sides of the ball.
We are a team in our training wheel stage again. These vets are here for a short time and will hopefully propel the young players to the next step.
Langdon appears to have a definitive plan for this franchise going forward. The initial moves are solid not earth shattering by any means. He isn’t coming in trying to sugar coat the situation and give us word-salad responses to questions. Gotta take him at his word about “No Shortcuts” 🤷🏾♂️
Malik Beasley and Gary Trent Jr are still avaliable FA's.
Players I would like to see the Pistons try to are acquire are as follows:
Paul Reed C/PF (the Sixers have 4 Centers, Great effort player, decent stretch), Tyus Jones PG (for a stable steady hand, good 3pt% and teaching younger guards), and Isaac Okoro SG/SF (JB loved him in Cleveland, great D, young improving wing).
GREAT NEWS
Per John Hollinger·
Senior Writer, NBA
It appears the Pistons might be signing Simone Fontecchio into their room exception, which is $7.98 million. Doing so would let them remove the $5.2 million cap hold on their books for him and replace it with a $1.1 million cap hold, effectively giving the Pistons $4 million in additional cap room with which to work. The Pistons would renounce his qualifying offer as part of this; depending on the exact specifics of Tobias Harris' deal, they should have about $30 million in cap room now.
We need a good pg back up and a good center back up now
WTF, somebody get me an update. Does Malik Beasley end the Ivey plan?
fred Vinson and get Holland n Thompson shooting
We need a Christian Wood type of backup center! Someone with a jump shot and adequate rim protection!
We just need BI and a decent Center at this point
Buddy heild does not make gs “special “ koolaid 😂😂😂
They are as it relates to shooting the three ball. Hield and Curry are a good combo. You don’t think pairing up the top two three point volume shooters (each around 40% from 3) from the last few years will be special on any level?
A great shooter in a nonstop moving offense? Do you know ball lol?
