Ann Hamilton was consistently wonderful as the female character in numerous Morecambe & Wise sketches. She had great comic timing, and was spot on in every role, always doing the exact thing necessary to support and bring out the best in Eric, Ernie and their guest stars while staying in the background, which is harder to do than it seems. :-)
Great stuff..Although I was very much around then I don't recall many of these sketches - although I am not too good in health at present I can't stop laughing....so thanks!
This was from the first episode of the sixth series on BBC One, originally aired 7.25pm on Sunday 19th September 1971. The episode was actually proposed to air on Halloween night, Sunday 31st October 1971, but the BBC decided to make it the first episode of the new series. Tom Jones episode was decided to air on Halloween night, which is a shame, as this horror spoof would have suited Halloween night.

Doowy, Cheetham and Howe. Sounds almost as good as my legal representatives - Grabbit and Leggit.
"Who's upset Doctor Who and Batman?" 🤣

Ah, them was the days! Wonderful days.
The BBC got it right. Tom Jones was horrid.
Morecambe & Wise - "The House Of Terror" part 1 0352am 11.5.23 maybe tom jones was seen as more frightening of the skits on offer?
