The pressure gage has an interesting feature. If you shine a flashlight on it for a few seconds it glows. Handy for night hunts with multiple guns needing different settings. I love, love, love mine.
This one reminds me a lot of the GXSC3 compressor !
looks like a nice unit at a more affordable price
That is slick!
Just bought!!!
Cool!
Love mine..and it's fast
What is used to catch moisture out of the air going into the gun??? Would this be able to fill airforce talon and condor tanks?
Trying to understand the difference between the Nomad III. The Nomad seems to have a bag and light but lacks dual fans. What am I missing?
I play airsoft, and use a hpa tank. Would this be able to feel a 68/4500 psi tank?
My came in Monday got it for my airforce texan
👏👏👏
Saw your ad first. What is the quietest air rifle?
Hi there, i would like to ask if the compressor can fill up a 4500PSI hpa tank? Thanks!
What would be the advantage to run it on 220
Mine is coming today! Hand-pumping an Avenger Bullpup is no fun...
Enjoy! This will definitely be an improvement.
Just sent this as an email to myself. Going to buy me a "starter" airgun for plinking. Any good suggestions for something that's "middle of the road"?
For a PCP, middle of the road is probably $5-800 or so. You can get great performance out of the less expensive guns like the Air Venturi Avenger, Umarex Gauntlet 2 and JTS Airacuda Max....or you can step into something like a Benjamin Marauder. There's also the Air Venturi Avenge-X which will be coming later this year and is starting at the $500 price point. That'll be one to watch as well.
Air Venturi avenger or the avenger X. I have the avenger in .025 and it’s an amazingly accurate rifle.
Why is the Nomad III $300 more? They are probably both made in the same plant correct?
The Nomad III is a considerably more complex unit, especially from an electrical perspective. The idea with the RovAir was to strip out all of the non-essential stuff to offer the same performance at a much better price point
@@tylerpatner6591 Is there like a chart or explanation on what the differences is between the Nomad III and RovAir?
I've been trying to find a comprehensive comparison between these two but all I've heard is some "electrical frills" like led light and smaller form factor... just trying to get educated before I take the plunge.
@@austintkw There is not. But essentially, there is no load gauge/screen, no more light on the bottom and a simplified on/off switch. Less buttons and "frills"
Personally, I would pocket the difference, take the RovAir and put that money into ammo or a new gun or improved optics....something like that. But that's just me
@@tylerpatner6591 Don't care much for LED but not sure what's a "load gauge/screen" ...
Either way, as long as the internal mechanical parts is the same and yield the same result, think the RovAir is better deal for sure. Thanks !!!
@@austintkw The load gauge was essentially used to tell you when it was time to lube the unit again.
The internals are largely the same, just oriented differently within the unit itself, which is why the two units look physically different
Tyler. Send me one. Ill run it nonstop on camera. We can see how effective it really is..
So what was the fill time 175 to 250?
It was just a few minutes, I want to say around 3 total, but don't quote me on that, this was a little while ago.
Don't you need to Release the PSI Before Turning on the Compressor? I have a Spare Air 6cf I need to fill.
You only need to release it if the compressor is already pressurized, not the gun.
@@BhutJolokias I'm Filling a Tank
@@chrisphilhower6029 Same, you only need to depressurize the compressor before each use. Not what you're filling, as long as it has a one-way valve that is.
@@BhutJolokias As I understand, The Unit Can't fill it in one run. It needs to Cool down. Maybe if I did it in Stages? 1k, 1.5k. Up to the 3k Limit.
@@chrisphilhower6029 Chris, while it's not recommended to fill tanks, what the truly means is it's not recommended for continuous use without breaks. My recommendation would be 15 minutes on, 15 minutes depressurized and cooling. Repeat until whatever you're filling is full. With most tanks, you would need to open the valve when the pressure in the hose is about the same as the pressure in your tank, and then close the valve when your 15 minute fill time ends.
Is the Maurader still the quietest air rifle?
I wouldn't say it's the quietest, but definitely still up there as one of the quietest.
@@tylerpatner6591 which would you go for with quiet target shooting in mind
@@slightenigma There are a number of FX rifles that are just as quiet, the air arms ultimate sporter rifles that have the QTec moderator affixed are also very quiet. If you're looking for something more budget friendly, stick to the Marauder.
