    This woman lived such a full life and had so much energy and determination to further her education and career. She also clearly worked very hard to maintain so many close friendships and relationships. The fact that ONE insane and obsessed man could so easily rip that all away from her is both terrifying and extremely difficult to accept... Even as someone that never met her.

      Ozymandias - Long Forgotten.
      I met a traveller from an antique land,
      Who said-“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
      Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,
      Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
      And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
      Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
      Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
      The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
      And on the pedestal, these words appear:
      My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
      Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
      Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
      Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
      The lone and level sands stretch far away.

      Is it true that most people really don't care about you?
      You would be so surprised at how little people actually care about you. It is like you do not exist. If you were to die right now, life would just go on, as if you never existed in the first place.
      Seriously, there would be a funeral and after that you will be long forgotten like the poem Ozymandias says. Your neighbours won’t care, your friends, your work colleagues won’t care; your relatives won’t care. Your parents and siblings may, but even they too will move on after a while.
      That is just life. We are not inherently valuable despite what is preached. It is one of the things that enables me to live so to speak. That really nobody gives a rats ass about who you are and what you have done or achieved.
      They are even too self-absorbed in their own affairs and delusions to even to have the energy to care about everything else in their surroundings.
      You can become so much happier by just adopting this simple approach. You can overcome narcissism and the obsession with vanity and material gain, when you realize that society does not care one iota about what you look like or what have. I repeat, if you dropped dead right now, life would go on like you never existed in the first place.
      One more thing is that life isn't valuable anymore today. There are 7 billion of us in the world. Nobody stops to look and admire at a living human being, something that is taken for granted. Instead, if you are in the working class, your body is just looked as a pair of hands and the use of manual slave labor for some big business industries.
      The moral: Be grateful and enjoy your time alive on this planet in this universe.

    Why this judge would not let the Prosecution read the whole email of a murdered victim is beyond me. These are her words. This was the cry of her heart and her own words. Her words deserved to be heard in full. This displays a complete ignorance of her voice. Simply disgusting and obnoxious behaviour by a judge. Deeply unmerciful and disrespectful 😢

      What steps did she take ? A gun, guard dog or home security system would have helped a lot. She obtained none of those. Of the course the freak who killed her would have found a way, like getting to her somewhere else, but at least if there had been serious steps taken then her home would have been a lot safer.

      @Stand4Liberty 8 месяцев назад

      @andreaperini3982 I agree about the training and knowing about self defence , but with a gun if go look for trouble you most likely get killed ,guns should only used for last resort, as for the victim here like I said she would of had heaps of chance being not murdered , I would of of put bullets all over him till he was out of action.

      Clearly she was one bright and capable lady and she would have had no trouble acquiring competency with a gun. Best friend didn't know Gareth's last name = NOT too clever

  • @RyanJansen-mf7wu
    @RyanJansen-mf7wu 8 месяцев назад

    If Amie didn't go out of her way to give the last name of Gareth to this close friend of hers of whom she verbally commumicated back and forth with (perhaps even extensively that is), then that would appear to indicate that her worst fears of being harmed by Gareth would've been avoided... as far as whatever kind of impresdion he could have given her at the event that they had previously interacted with eachother at. Her managing to also not go out of her way to purchase a gun as of yet, would additionally help reaffirm such a depiction of her regards to Gareth. And it's a wonder if Amie was perhaps something of shaken, just by merely being caught off guard by such a run in occuring... as she probably had plans of having something of a fascinating night out, without concluding that the "highlight" of such an evening was going to be an unexpected one. That all said, it's a wonder if she was disturbed enough to be incentived to at least indirectly choose to exagerate Gareth's demeanor... such as referencing him as "screaming" at her while in line, as this would appear to be a very obtrusively abormal scene... and one of which an onlooker might refer a security guard to the sitiation (if there was one), perhaps suspecting a public intox even or what not.

    • @Angelamb1987
      @Angelamb1987 8 месяцев назад +5

      I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to say but she in no way exaggerated his demeanor. There are many witnesses to his freakout to which she tried to de-escalate. In fact she tried multiple times to de-escalate the situation with him. He just couldn't take no for an answer.
