Testing out various pellets in my Weihrauch HW70A, and I think I found a winner! Follow on Facebook: / airgungirl Twitter: / theairgungirl and Instagram: / airgungirl
Well done, Dawn. I think air pistol shooting is one of the most-if not the most- difficult of all airgun disciplines especially with a spring piston pistol which you made look easy. Congratulations from the UK.
a further test you can do off camera is a clean bore and fouled bore test with each type of pellet for a few sets of 5 shots each, this will show pellet performance on both a fresh clean bore and a fouled bore, some pellets need a bit of fouling in barrel to tighten up groups, this is the reason for a few sets so you can compare the sets and see what shot numbers show improvement or if the pellet doesnt improve, the reason for cleaning bore in between each pellet type is to give each pellet a fair chance on a clean bore with no deposits from previous type of pellet
Really good shooting ! Really good review ! I think I found my new favorite air gun channel. Beautiful woman, accurate shooter, great reviews. I got them feels ❤️. Keep up the amazing work.
I had a feeling the greens were not going to do well. The JSBs yea they are one of my favorite pellets.I did think the Meisters would have done better.See I knew you could shoot mighty good! Thanks for the video.Looks like you have a good following!
Wow... if I wasn’t into shooting air guns before I am now. Smokin! Can you get your hands on a HW 44 and show us how you really do. I ave heard they are supper awesome and accurate and with a 1000$ price tag the better be. Thanks for the video keep em coming.
I've never seen a break barrel single shot air pistol before but I'm very impressed. Definitely a nice 30 feet distance indoor gun to shoot at a box filled with newspapers or magazines. The break barrel air rifles can be a bit too powerful to shoot indoors
I just got an hw70 from an estate sale. It is shooting very low with the sight screw almost all the way out. Can you confirm screwing the sight screw in will make it shoot lower or higher. I have shot 100 pellets and can’t tell. Thanks
I just acquired an HW70 with brown plastic grip and no "safety". Serial number 135771. Can anyone tell me when this gun was made? Weinrauch's list of gun dates gives no dates for the HW70 models at all.
Airgun Girl...... Great videos so far (just "found you" and have only seen Four of your vids)... and just liked and subscribed to you, keep them coming. Have one question for you... well, actually Two questions.... 1) The first video I watched was on the Crossman 2240 (stock), and was noticing the landscape where you were out shooting the 2240.... are you in CO, UT, NM or northern AZ.?? 2) So far, in the videos of you shooting at your home... you never show, or even tell the distance from your muzzle to the target.... why is that ? Would be helpful to know those details... like in your pellet test with the HW70 above. Your doing Great, girl.... keep it up and you'll become a dominant reviewer and "Star" in the world of Airguns. PS: I "Love" your eyes.... VERY Pretty, and they reveal a wonderful woman at heart.
+2Stroke Diesel Power thanks for the comments! I like to shoot in Northern AZ when I can get away. I was pretty sure I at least mentioned the distance but now I will have to go back and check! Typically it is 20 yards as that is the space I have.
never used a scope yet but really like the 1911 bottom since its interchangeable with 1911 grips, mine has to be about 20 - 25 years and still in great shape and like new, the only down side is its a matte black paint finish that cant be maintained well since its just paint over aluminum, the P-1 is high grade aircraft aluminum, its will do 650 fps and over with a 5.56 grain trophy pellet, still meets its 600 fps requirement for back then wich was a 6.5 laser pellet for beeman, of 5 ft/lbs of energy wich its comes in at 5.5 ft/lbs on some pellets, its simply the best pellet pistol other then the daisy 717 and 747 wich are a dream to shoot and amazing accuracy, and for a spring piston pistol the beeman p-1 is great with accuracy in the right hands, many forget the P-1 has double recoil like any spring piston gun except the spring piston pushes to the rear of the gun giving you a rear firearm kick backward instead of a forward kick like other spring piston pistols, i have a .177 and .20 cal barrel, the .20 cal barrel i can get 6 ft/lbs of energy out of the P-1 and 5.5 ft/lbs of energy out of the .177 barrel, i do want to see how i can get a .22 barrel now that .22 pellets like the 9.5 grain trophy are good for it or them 13.43 grain air arms or jsb round nose pellets, or even the light weight lead wad cutter the 11.9 grain rws
I dropped a crow like 50 yards I aimed high shot the little fucker in the chest with a beeman field target specialist (H&N field target trophy) 8.6 grains pistol scope on like 3 or 4 power and squeeze I watched it bounce off the branches and hit the street the P1 shoots far I highly recommend a pistol scope very accurate pistol it will shoot very far with a little practice set up some card board and shoot-n-c stickers at like 40 yards and watch what happens have fun soon you'll have your pistol in your backpack going every where with you too
i never thought about a scope for my P-1 looks like a 14 mm rail, pyramid air has 14 mm rings i noticed right now for a 1 inch tube so i need to think about a scope since i think the accuracy wont be a problem and my trigger can be set down to 1 pound, i just chronographed a 8.64 field target trophy 4.51 head size at 509 fps so thats right in the 5 ft/lbs range even though pistol is older then 20 years and possibly 25 years, low power cock setting gave me 422 fps at almost 3.5 ft/lbs, i chronographed a air arms falcon 7.33 grain wich is my favorite all around plinking pellet and that one was high setting 587 fps and low setting 470 fps, this was a clean bore shot through chrongraph just today so the p-1 is one tough air pistol shooting a flat trajectory similar to a daisy 880, and though a browning 800 mag has a 100 fps advantage over a p-1, the p-1 has a very short barrel so its length of barrel to power ratio is impressive, its sample pellet for advertising velocity back in the day was a laser round nose pellet 6.5 grains so that explains why light pellets of today like the 5.56 grain trophy that i chronographed at 685 fps are way above its 600 fps advertised, 685 is a very flat trajectory and high speed for such a short barrel, tempted to put a scope on
dude I was shooting seed pods off a sycamore tree today they were waving in the breeze I was leaning up against this dudes car I hit the ones I was aiming at NOT AN EASY TARGET AT ALL but with the pistol scope we saw the dust come off bad ass with a pistol scope try that with open sights go for a variable power pistol scope I some times need more magnification to see just a little better and the rail takes standard rings I have a Bushnell trophy pistol scope 2 x 6 power
You just got yourself sub #670 :D Got here from Giles channel. Was watching your colab video on the Diana Stealth. You should ask him for the video, so you can post it on your channel too. Since you hosted the majority of that video. Keep them videos comming, don't bother with the Trolls. Love the fact that you don't use scopes in your reviews.
ColdieHU thanks and welcome! Never thought to ask for the video. I tend to like the challenge of no scope. Although my next video I ended up using one 😉 just to change things a little.
Nothing wrong with using a scope, gun with a scope just looks more badass. I think the more important fact for most of us was, that you just used the iron sights to shoot and you are damn good at it too. If you look at any other channel, you will notice that 95% of them use scopes. It is refreshing for us viewers to see somebody shoot without one and do a great job. On the colab video matter, lots of YT channels do those and they usually post those videos on all the channels that were involved. That way there is a higher chance of getting more viewers and potential subs.
I have the beeman P5 (hw70 black arrow) try the jsb 7.33 grain exacts round nose pellets I use the H&N field target trophy 8.6 grains or the jsb exact 8.4 grains I have other beeman (weihrauch) air guns my R9 ,R1 ,P1 ,P5 all .177 and my beeman crow magnum (theoben) .22 the wad cutter are good for shooting cans the soda cans flip all over the place
Well done, Dawn. I think air pistol shooting is one of the most-if not the most- difficult of all airgun disciplines especially with a spring piston pistol which you made look easy.
Congratulations from the UK.
Yet again the gorgeous Dawn has produced another great video. Very informative and keep getting better
No hideous music,no fumbling of camera, no walking down to target lol & very imformative. Keep making them, & ill be watching. 👌
+David River just doing my thing 😁 thanks!

Have been shooting Gamo match thru mine, but I'll soon have a JSB sampler tin with 7 different pellet types to try out. Nice video.
Really good shooting ! Really good review ! I think I found my new favorite air gun channel. Beautiful woman, accurate shooter, great reviews. I got them feels ❤️. Keep up the amazing work.
Great comparison test. Well done!
+Mark Donnelly Thanks 🙂
That is a very accurate spring pistol... Specially with them jsb pellets!
Awesome! Is this gun quiet enough to shoot indoors?
I had a feeling the greens were not going to do well. The JSBs yea they are one of my favorite pellets.I did think the Meisters would have done better.See I knew you could shoot mighty good! Thanks for the video.Looks like you have a good following!
+Al Gid I really like this pistol. It's always fun when things go right though 😉

Nice looking gun. More great shooting from Dawn. Love this vid.
This is a great video
How accurate is this when shot freehand; does the muzzle flip occur while pellet is inside barrel or immediately after it has cleared barrel?
great vid we need more
Great shootin' and great production quality, Airgun Girl!
+DillyD thanks
Nice!
Good 👍 job , but , how far was you shooting?
Beautiful gun and lovely shooting especially with the jsbs.. 👍👍
Very good air gun girl
I just got an hw70 from an estate sale. It is shooting very low with the sight screw almost all the way out. Can you confirm screwing the sight screw in will make it shoot lower or higher. I have shot 100 pellets and can’t tell. Thanks
Tak, potwierdzam, jest tak jak piszesz, w ten sposób regulujesz przyrządy celownicze. Pozdrowienia serdeczne z Hamburga 👍

ile kosztuje weihrauch 70? ile jest wart?
Cool 😎 votre démo vidéo, je like.

+szaki 10 yards :)
i used a friends HW70A and like my Beeman P-1 it has a nice trigger
did you ever try a pistol scope on the P1 and a Hogue grip that's how I have my pistol it goes everywhere with me and pellets
never used a scope yet but really like the 1911 bottom since its interchangeable with 1911 grips, mine has to be about 20 - 25 years and still in great shape and like new, the only down side is its a matte black paint finish that cant be maintained well since its just paint over aluminum, the P-1 is high grade aircraft aluminum, its will do 650 fps and over with a 5.56 grain trophy pellet, still meets its 600 fps requirement for back then wich was a 6.5 laser pellet for beeman, of 5 ft/lbs of energy wich its comes in at 5.5 ft/lbs on some pellets, its simply the best pellet pistol other then the daisy 717 and 747 wich are a dream to shoot and amazing accuracy, and for a spring piston pistol the beeman p-1 is great with accuracy in the right hands, many forget the P-1 has double recoil like any spring piston gun except the spring piston pushes to the rear of the gun giving you a rear firearm kick backward instead of a forward kick like other spring piston pistols, i have a .177 and .20 cal barrel, the .20 cal barrel i can get 6 ft/lbs of energy out of the P-1 and 5.5 ft/lbs of energy out of the .177 barrel, i do want to see how i can get a .22 barrel now that .22 pellets like the 9.5 grain trophy are good for it or them 13.43 grain air arms or jsb round nose pellets, or even the light weight lead wad cutter the 11.9 grain rws

Where can you buy this pistol? Been searching....no luck....
+Robert Alexander I got mine from Airguns of Arizona. Should be on their website.
Thanks AirGunGirl! I'm also considering the RWS LP8. How would you compare the two?
Of course the JSB's did the best... I'm being a bit biased. Lol
💞👍😎
Why did you stop making videos?
We don't mean to make you nervous!
..... spring shoots back in the chin . Nice hold while loading pellets 😅😔
Pretty women and good airguns, what's not to love!
How can I believe this is true test?
Cocking that thing like a boss! I must use the extention tube to cock my Ruger Mk1.
God shootin! What distance was that?
10 yards
1,000 feet LOL
Where’d you go?
Just had some setbacks. Will see what I can pull together this year.
