NAMM 2020 takes place in Anaheim, California from January 16-19, 2020 at the Anaheim Convention Center. It is one of the largest annual conventions in the United States. Accordingly, parking is a nightmare for many attendees.

Traffic and parking are impacted by the location of the convention center. It is located very close to the Honda Center stadium as well as Disneyland. You can imagine how many cars pass though on a sunny Southern California Saturday when the Angels are playing baseball and every tourist in the world is filing into Disneyland!

First time NAMM attendees often ask me for parking tips or where is the best place to park.
This year I made a video mapping out my favorite parking location and walk-up routine. This video takes place on a Thursday which is NAMM's slowest traffic day. Keep in mind that the same route on Saturday or Sunday will have at least twice as much traffic.

This video specifically addresses parking at Winter NAMM in Anaheim, California. Summer NAMM takes place in Nashville, TN and does not have the same level of impacted traffic or difficult parking conditions. I've been to both shows and strongly recommend attending both when possible!

I would so very much love to visit NAMM one day, it's like Christmas every year. Although local music conventions can be too loud and crowed at times...
Chris Franklyn it’s definitely worth a visit at least one time. Don’t stay too long in the percussion section if loud bothers you, though 😆

Ryker the Husky Dog Us, too. We live in Southern California and are relatively close to tons and tons of things to do but we do very few of them because of the traffic. We really should just bite the bullet and take advantage of the attractions in our area but like you, we hate the traffic!
