What I love about the Judd v8’s is that each one that one featured was a different displacement and you could hear either the slight difference in tone or rpm!
It's that Judd engine......for some reason Judd has produced an engine that makes better music than any other manufacturer. V8, V10....doesnt matter.....No Judd, No Life🔥

@@dinos22 yes, its used in a few of their hillclimb videos. But the motor has to be rebuilt every few races, being a NA high compression engine. The strenght of the steel can only take so much before needing replacement.
Didn't expect to enjoy that E46 run so much. There's something so entertaining about watching races through small villages, plus that driver was excellent at controlling it
@@mortenfrosthansen84 my original 85 corvette is fun to drive. That has to be absolutely insane. The suspensions are set up so good can really put it down. That thing screaming sends chills down my spine also with the engine breaking using downshifting. Superb.
The SLK looked to be going an entirely different speed class than the rest, but the BMW street driver won my heart. Have to imagine he knew that neighborhood like the back of his hand.

The "Furore" actually sounds better than any recent f1 car, that's why i don't watch f1 anymore. Also beacuse it's full of BullSH now but that's another story. Hillclimb is now the king of good sounding cars!

I will forever be grateful to RaceRoom for bringing the SLK 430 Judd over so I can experience just a portion of its real life ferocity. I love the BMW 134 Judd V8 so much but the SLK is right beside it in terms of the “fear of God factor” while going all out in it. The only cars to genuinely raise my heart rate in a freaking simulator 😂
I miss the old Formula One when John Judd's company and Brian Hart's company made F1 engines that took on the factory engines like Ferrari, Ford, Mercedes and others. Brian Hart's V10 in the Jordan F1 car around 1994 (?) was a giant killer. From 1993 to 1996 Tyrell had a Judd-Yamaha V10. These John Judd V8's sound like what a real F1 car should sound like. I looked on the Internet and supposedly these hill climb V8s can be bought for $20,000. I would bet it is a bit more than that. Great video.

The Judd CV is an old F1 engine, it was used by Williams, Lotus, EuroBrun and March in the late 80's early 90's.

Mitsi has a tuned LS or CHev SBC by my ear. When set up right and right headers they don't sound like typical chevs lol.
