You can't be ticketed for POP (Instant on), have it dismissed. Not hard to given the fact that in the manual for the Bee 3(the unit most of them use) it says you shouldn't issue tickets since POP is not accurate.

You want to maximize the performance of the detector. Shooting it upwards towards the sky will increase the time the detector detects the frequency that gets in its radar. Think of it like a cone shape that the radar can "see". Definitely see a difference with my Uniden r3.

Yes its not perfect and has to be used with waze. Nothing is 100% but this is as close at it gets without adding jammers/radar mods that are illegal
They are kind of custom to the type of neighbourhood i drive and amount of noise i can tolerate. Each should set up their own preferences but turn on as many as possible and as loud as you can peacefully tolerate
