The transmission makes a slight rattle sound on neutral too but the dealer said they tried other manual mk6 and they were making the same sound. Didnt have the money to tell them to open it up anyway to check. Other than that i love the car.
Any manual you makes a rattle noise when its neutral cause the clutch is disengaged 😂and the coil pack problem you can bring it into service your warranty ends at 65k
send us a pic from the future. would love to know what a 2107 jetta looks like
Im a 2021 jetta s automatic and im at 45k miles and ive been tuned since 25k nothing is wrong w my transmission so whatever u heared about the automatic they might need to they research
FBO IS38 on my 2019 MK7 GLI with no issues yet. Sends the V8s packing 👍
just boought the same one same color and manual. cant wait to start the mods i love yours
Love your review and shoes, of course. 👍
Thanks!
for me is a beautiful car simple and nice
And my mk7.5 S has an 8 speed automatic with no issues
If you want reliable super jetta power then get the 2.0 gli throw a downpipe, bigger turbo and intercooler and switch the paddle shifters to bigger red ones for about 3500$ . Boom 400 pluss hp depending on the tune run. Just be nice too your dsg. That is definently a common failure point for people who dont take care of it. Do NOT drive it like a slush box as you will ruin its clutch and its not "just a manual" when it comes to repairs!
Oh also as of this date dont is38 swap unless your getting a used one really cheap. Apr has the dtr kit with the tune you need (6-800$ alone) for the price of a new is38~1500$. The dtr is more efficient and capable of more power too. I think on 93 you can crank aprs tune up too make 450hp on stock fueling. Not quite sure didnt go dtr as it wasnt around. But apr makes good shit.
2018 Wolfsburg, 85,000 miles, Not. A. Single. Issue.
I gotta 19 se , about 45k miles. Love it
Uhm rust on on brake rotors from e brake is not an issue. Brake rotors rust and then when u use them it wears the rust off... the squeakings not from the ebrake...
The styling is not good or bad. But it has an incredible aerodynamic efficiency and whatya know its an "economy car"....
As for reliability its new with a new engine...ever heard of an automakers new engine years bwing reliable..typically theyr not(trial and error). The gli on the orherhand with the tried and true gen 3 2.0tsi is incredibly reliable. Any failure points womt be the 2.0 engine. All engines can fail but the 2.0 is incredibly reliable and definently more reliable then most cars. Idk ab the 8spd trans..
I enjoy the vibes 😂 I have a black mk6.5 GLI but I really love that Orange color 😍
Volkswagens can easily reach 200k-300k miles with no issues. Just change the oil.
I love your style.
