Nice reaction young lady, music is made to "move" you, and make you feel a certain way, and clearly Jinjer is doing that for you. They are a phenomenal band, and if you continue to react to more Jinjer you'll love them more and more. I had the pleasure of seeing and meeting Jinjer last October in Los Angeles, the concert was pure fire, and Tatiana, Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar) and Vlad (drums) are some of the nicest, kindest, most humble human beings you could meet. They are touring the USA this fall, I have my tickets for November along with the VIP meet and greet upgrade, definitely worth looking into if they are going to tour a city near you to see them live, trust me, you will absolutely love the concert. Keep up the great reactions, looking forward to more Jinjer, and as always, stay Metal young lady. 😊😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶

Glad you are enjoying the band. In case no one mentioned it. If you look up the lyrics, this song is sung from two perspectives. The first half is Tati singing about her seasonal depression when trees shed their leaves and hibernate for winter. And the end is from the perspective of the trees where she sings about being renewed in spring to be her friends again "from the ashes of my roots the new me, will rise to live again. This is poetry of youth, this is poetry of me and you"

She used to wear braids and dress like a tomboy. (see their older videos like "Cloud Factory" and "Sit, Stay, Rollover"). But after their original drummer broke his back in a freak accident, and the band felt like quitting, she decided to cut her hair and change her clothing to represent a new direction. That's when they made the video for Pisces, to introduce their new drummer who is still currently with them.
1- Mantulin was not the original drummer, he was their 3rd drummer.
2- Tatiana didn't cut her dreads after Mantulin's accident, she only cut them shortly before they recorded the video for I Speak Astronomy.
Those were dreads, not braids.
Also, technically Vlad isn't a drummer. He is a classically trained Pianist. If you watch some of his play back videos with better views of him and think about how a piano is played, You can kind of make out the influence on his very unorthodox playing style. Can't wait to see them live again, in December/Dallas, House of Blues... Again!

You are in for a real treat going to see them live...phenomenal...it's all I can say.
You're in for a treat when you see them live! It is quite the show to say the least. I saw them last year in New Haven, CT on November 20th for the first time and it was amazing. This year, their closest show to me is in Boston, MA and it happens to be on November 20th again! So yeah 11/20 is simply Jinjer Day for me now. Can't wait! Hope you have a blast at the stop on the tour you're going to.

I learning that my NeuroDivergent brain is not BatShit Crazy, but Complex and Beautiful! We Feel stimuli different than Average Humans. I taste color, I am very sensitive to bright lights, they hurt, and music is a WHOLE BODY EXPERIENCE! My head and face move and contort, and I sway and rock. It just happens? Plus I am infatuated with Percusion and I close my eyes and see color and intensity, when listening to Percussionists. Keep your head up Girlfriend and Much Love, Peace, and Prosperity! ❤

Great reaction. Love the shear joy and excitement from you. I'm a rock and metalhead from the 80s and have been so bored with music since the mid-80s. Nothing grabbed me like KISS, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue and Metallica...until Dec 2020 when I heard Pisces. I had to find more. This video was the second song I heard. I was hooked. Since we were in a pandemic and nobody was touring I started buying EVERYTHING. Even vinyls which I haven't bought since the early 80s. I bought 9 different variants of Wallflowers vinyl as well as a turntable. I saw and met the band in Dec 2021 and will again this Dec. They are phenomenal live. Which show you going to? I'm in Dallas. Keep on going down the JINJER rabbit-hole. "Who is gonna be the one (live)" is another great one that you'll enjoy, especially....not gonna spoil it. 🙂Subbed
Seen Jinjer twice live and they never disappoint!! Not only does Tatiana slay the show, the entire band is so amazing!! Had a meet an greet with them and everyone one of them are so humble. Great reaction 😊

jinjer lyrics are ALWAYS worth looking at, (the captions never show accurate lyrics so youd have to look them up) i think seeing the lyrics makes everything more impactful which i didnt think was possible with them

I love the different take that you have on a reaction video. Just showing how the music makes you feel rather than giving a halfassed musical description of what was already said on hundreds of other videos is great. I know you're not supposed to smile when music gets heavy but that's what you make me do.

The craziest part about this performance is this is the END of their set. And she has this much energy still. Tatiana is by far one of the best female metal singers, by far. Its like the entire band enters a trance when performing. Incredible
Nah man, the craziest part is that the reason she's adjusting her monitors constantly is because they were getting crossfeed on their monitors from the other stage since the show started.
That would throw most singers of their game pretty bad and these talented freaks just kept trucking along and planting an absolutely quality show.
Definitely enjoyed your reaction! Been a fan of Jinjer going on 2 years now...still get the goosebumps on many songs. Going to see them live again this year in Nov as well, exactly 1 year from the last time. So grateful they're coming back to the States again so soon!

Saw them twice 1st time in 2019 about a month after this show 2nd time last November. The show in 2019 was my 1st concert in over 25 years. Saw that they was playing near me and had to go.

Such a great reaction to an AMAZING live performance . Jinjer spiritbox monochromatic black divitius and the like are all amazing. I love extreme metal and the female vox imo compliments the heaviness much better than male vox can. So moved to see female fans inspired by the talent of these artists. 👍

I'm going to see them live too in Boston in November. Can.not. wait!! I love your enthusiasm ! I am 59 and this will be my first metal concert. I've always loved the heavy stuff (growing up on classic rock bands, punk, etc etc). This entire band is FIRE!! The kid in me wants to try one round in the mosh...but alas...I'm a bit scared! lolo! Keep on rocking and make sure to check out the lyrics to her music...pretty moving and poignant.
(p.s for a different hairstyle from tatianna, check out "outlander" , from best ukrainian metal 2014. The dreds era!!)

I'm going to suggest that you check out a few other songs off their newest album considering they're more likely going to play those at the concert. Wallflower is a slow build to the heaviness Vortex is probably my favorite song off the album because of my own connection with anxiety and then Mediator just comes right out the gate hard and heavy and barely let's up throughout. All 3 are official music videos.
I know what you feel, great right? they really makes us eargasm 🤘🤘. Maybe you wanna try arch enemy or spirit box next time. They have awesome female lead vocal too.

I’ll never forget when I discovered Jinjer back in 2011. I had this exact same reaction. I knew in my gut they would end up getting big. It’s been amazing watching how far they’ve come! And when I saw them live in Charlotte last year I was literally right at the stage and they absolutely killed it 🤘

Tatiana and Co. are EXTREMELY nice and humble. I got to meet them and photograph them and their show in 2019. I got a hug from Tatiana. I about had a stroke. It took me a good 10 seconds to register that she hugged me.
Edit: I know you’re seeing them soon. Whatever you do don’t stay in front of Eugene. I felt the vibration of his bass cab for 3 days after. But then again I was literally about a foot from him shooting pictures 😂
Judgement and Punishment (One Take) should be next just so you can see Tati in a booth with a microphone ripping the take for that song.
