    Hey y'all, sorry for how long it took to get out my next video, I ran into a significant amount of technical difficulties. I hope you all enjoy it though, this was a really interesting one to make!

    The best ability is availability. Same problem I had with deGrom the last few years as a Mets fan. He was unbelievable for about the 5 starts a season he would actually make.

      Buxton's injury history is on another level though, at least DeGrom has pitched more than one full season

      I can definitely understand your pain as a fellow Mets fan though

      How many star pitchers do the mets have to hurt before they're banned from baseball? Harvey, DeGrom, Wheeler, Thor, Matz, Johan, Pedro, ect.

      @@nobeardthepirate9172 what's crazy is we've hired and fired so many people from the training staff over time and it just never seems to change

    he should most definitely change the way he plays so that he actually plays some damn games

  • @charpool169
    @charpool169 Год назад +1

    I feel like the fact that he plays almost 50% less then the majority of other players means trying to compare his stats will always be a little skewed. While he less chances to buff his stats, he also has way less outings to negatively effect them.

      That's actually a really interesting take! You might honestly be onto something since his numbers this year since he stopped playing the field and focused on hitting and staying healthy have been just kind of above average rather than groundbreaking. He has plenty of time to disprove you, but I actually find your view on this hella intriguing

      @@PlayertoBeNamedLater ya I don't really follow baseball much, more just watch videos about it but just the way in that stats work and how one at bat can have more of an impact statistically on someone with 100 total then someone even with only 50 more it goes from each at bat essentially being 1% total to each just being a fraction of that. Could also kinda argue that he gets more rest in between most outings and has less games to have to play tired or having played the day before for example. Just makes him an interesting case to look at in another way also ✌

      @@PlayertoBeNamedLater this also makes me think that there must be a player or two who statistically could be some of the best, but hardly anyone will know because they only had a handful of outings before getting injured or something so there 1 or 2 hits on 1 or 2 at bats means they technically have close to or perfect batting stats. Could potentially be a very interesting idea to look into for a future video ✌
