    The problem for Loma is that he was so dominant early on in his pro career, no one wanted to fight him. Now, he's had a couple of narrow and unlucky losses in big fights, and none of the top contenders necessarily need to fight him (paired with the fact that they still probably don't want to).

    Kambosos beat Lopez in a close fight where Lopez had a life threatening injury, people need to understand that and stop thinking he dominated a healthy Lopez when he didn’t, he’s a b level fighter, he got dominated by Haney lost a clear fight to maxi hughes and got dominated even worse against loma. I think it was evident that George won at the end of the day and are you really making excuses for Teo? He came in as himself and got beat as himself. Even then, it was George that gave him a run for his money and hurt him badly. Either way, he pulled it out that night. Went into deep waters to become THE unified champion but I guess that doesn't matter right? To be any good in this scene, means you have to be phenomenal, when that isn't even true. Achievements are achievements. Becoming unified champion isn't easy. Training isn't easy neither. Now is George Kambosos the highest level fighter? No, but do I respect him for what he's done? Absolutely.

    Kambosos is a highly marketable, likable fighter. He has the looks, the attitude, story, and a ton of heart. Since he lost to the A level fighters, that puts him in the B/B+ category.
    I think a factory reset by joining a different promotion would help him out. Although he sells well in Australia, i think he is more suited for New York boxing. It fits his persona and would carry a fanbase over there, especially considering that's where his American fanbase basically started with the Lopez victory.

    Loma's voyage has been an incredible one... there isn't a loss on his record w/o an asterix if we're being honest... But this road to undisputed? We need him on Stem cell Iv's and Snac! 🤣 (perfectly legal.... ) Just so we make sure He's not aged out... I have a HARD time visioning a win vs Tank & Shakur But I did think the SouthPaw "Mover" i.e. Frank Martin was an interesting pick for Tank... I immediately thought, "Tank is getting Ready for Loma... "
    The real ones from philly say the same... They aged him out, But if we can just keep his ability to move where it is (or a liiiiitle better?) I DO see a path... He needs a near perfect defensive night... But this is kinda what he does... 2 in reach disadvantage against an already impossible Tank will be the tougher of the two... Then again, Shakur has Sparring against Loma (For a Fight)... I can almost see Shakur getting turned on a LITTTTLE more than Tank... Both VERY VERY HARD for Loma... But if he pulls it off? ohhhh man! It would be simply Epic... Like Nobody will be able to say shit... (not that they can now, The only loma haters simply just started watching boxing) This is a Cinderella Man type story in Lomachenko's Career... And I Still think Frank might make it a tougher fight than we thought... I still haven't figured him out yet... It's the Battle of the Southpaws....

    I really think boxing needs an oversight body that makes the fights. I don’t like UFC’s model because they ignore merit and make fights purely for cash (why was Colby Covington allowed a title fight with Leon Edwards?), but boxing really needs a body to tell fighters “We don’t care about your promoter or contract company; your next fight will be against …”
    Time is a very finite resource for fighters, and boxers spend years aging while trying to get fights made. An oversight body would have made Mayweather and Pacquaio fight four or five years earlier than they did.

    The fight showed me how outclassed Kambosos was against Loma. While the win was great for Loma, I would rather see Loma sail in the sunset and not keep fighting even though he's 36 years old. Loma has at least a year or two left before he retires, but given the fighting style of Loma. He could fight on for another four more years, but fighting against top fighters will be a huge challenge for him. Don't get me wrong, It reminds me of Manny Pacquaio when he fought against Keith Thurman. However we all know father time is undefeated, which we don't want to see athletes take anymore punishments as they age.
    As for Kambosos, I think he could still continue to be a contender for championship fights but even I think it wouldn't be wrong should Kambosos retire from boxing. Overall, I think Kambosos did a much better job fighting against Loma than Jeff Horn when he fought against Terrance Crawford. (I believe Manny was robbed against Jeff Horn).

    George fought Teo bro (a teo who shouldn't have been fighting that night)
    Lopez is a WAY bigger ko artist than Haney, if George can thug it out after getting chopped with a Teo right hand to the temple, go to war with prime Pac man in sparring for years, and never be stopped or really in trouble very often - he's prolly not getting stopped by Haney

    Typical bias, 10lbs rehydration clause for Tank vs Ryan Garcia... the Public goes ohhh unfair ,he only lost because of that
    Loma vs Kambosos 10lbs rehydration clause, the public goes Loma is the best ever he beat him fair and square and will soon hold all the belts

    • @moisesvirgen7711
      @moisesvirgen7711 2 месяца назад +4

      Wow you really don’t know. Ryan Garcia before fighting Tank was already having TROUBLE making 135… he was on his way out to 140 but since he wanted to fight Tank he drained himself to make the fight and tank was even mocking him about eating breakfast the day of the weigh in. Kambosos and Loma are similar in size and both shouldn’t have had any issue making weight. Ryan ducks no one and makes the big fights happen, fighting Tank and Haney back to back. One where he was drained and the other where he was fully hydrated .. that’s the difference. Tank would never run it back with Ryan at 143 but yet he made the fight with Mario barrios who wasn’t even a top 5 140 guy.
      Ryan Garcia is technically a welterweight but he wants to make the big fights happen at 140 and the best thing he can do is make 143, he said it himself he can’t go past 143 but he should get credit for wanting to drain himself to make the big fights happen at 140 like vs Teo and Pitbull. Tank complains about 5 pounds and that’s why he shouldn’t get respect until he has the balls to move up and fight real champs.

      @@moisesvirgen7711 See what I mean they agree on 140 for Devin vs Garcia but Ryan purposely came overweight, this is why it was fair for Tank to put the rehydration clause because he knew Ryan plays dirty

      @moisesvirgen7711 2 месяца назад

      @@juzrhyme712 I get what you mean… but Ryan wanted the smoke with BIG NAMES AT 135-140. Even when he was making weight he was still struggling because his body was growing out of that weight class. That’s why he said the most he can do is 143, and let’s not act like Haney don’t blow up to like 154 over night. Haney vs Ryan WAS and is a fair fight. What’s an unfair fight is Haney moving up to fight Janibek because of how strong and big Janibek is at 160. But Haney lost to a guy his own size and it hurt his reputation and now he gonna have to start fighting more top guys to get back into stardom. Haney ain’t even all that for ryan to be “cheating” when all Ryan did was land that left hook 😂 Haney couldn’t take the hits tbh because he’s chinny. Rehydration clauses are a bit fishy tbh, and Tank knew Ryan was struggling to even meet him at 136. If Tank is really that guy he should do the following :
      Unfiy vs Loma and KO Loma ( it’s still a good fight)
      Go after Shakur and stop him to make a statement
      And then pick off Navarrete for that last strap if he wins his bout.
      After all that 135 stuff he would be without a doubt the best fighter on the planet and maybe he can make a mega fight with a top dog at 140 and maybe retire. I wouldn’t even be mad if Tank retires at age 33-34 as long as he’s able to do the following. That’s what separates guys like BUD, CANELO, INOUE. They beat the main guys at the division they’re in and people don’t ask for much from them because they beat a lot of top guys they’ve faced. Bud stopped the guy they said was supposed to end his reign, Canelo cleared 168 and all he really needs to do is either fight Benavides or run it back with Bivol, inoue is inoue and has been destroying everyone from 118-122. There’s not a lot for those three guys to do with their careers tbh but Tank.. he has a list of things to do to get on their level or even have half of the resume they have. Clocks ticking

    • @razor23Ukraine
      @razor23Ukraine 2 месяца назад

      That's dumb. There should not be any need for a "rehydration clause". The whole rehydration thing in martial arts is freaking bullshit. It's dangerous for those rehydrating and unfair to those who are smaller. Why don't these +10lb fighters just don't fight in a higher weight class? Oh right because there are also dudes who rehydrate +15lb or more overnight.
