18:45 Sorry for the wrong info. Airfare on this route (CAN-BKK-NBO) on Kenya Airways is quite expensive. Latest figures on Google Flights return: HK$30,745 US$3,928 AU$5941. However it gets a lot cheaper if you have connecting flights beyond Nairobi
The boarding music is everything 😍
Interesting flight, it's like two flights in one. Very special to have the entire cabin to yourselves! The flight crew looked so friendly. Nairobi was so pretty and sunny, I can't wait to see the helicopter ride!

Thanks Jayden. This made my day. Kenya Airways looks pretty good but that stopover with the cleaning crew and change of cabin crew while you were trying to take nap must have been weird. Really enjoyed the Capetown Vlog too, looks like a nice city. Looking forward to your next adventure.

nah 6'4 still based in Sydney but will be relocating soon for his new job, don't know where yet (company hasn't decided) but possibly HK.

Jayden, waiting for your Starlux Airlines flight trip report. Which route you will be flying on Starlux? Also try out Air Astana (the national flag carrier of Kazakhstan) a hidden gem. You can fly on their Bangkok to Almaty route.

Jayden, the Kenya Airways Nairobi to Cape Town flight has a stopover at Victoria Falls/Livingstone which is on the Zambia-Zimbabwe border. Is that correct and will your flight trip report video be out soon regarding this route?. Also please try other top African carriers such as Ethiopian Airlines, South African Airways and Air Mauritius (the last two airlines have non stop flights to Perth)

I have been to Guangzhou airport and when you depart from the airport, you have to go downstairs or lift to board the plane.
love the blog about CAPETOWN.......all the information says that S. AFRICA is not a particularly save place to visit.....high crime rate....so glad that you had someone along to "protect" you 😃. anyway the blog was fantastic...thanks .....

haha stay in the touristy bit and you'll be fine. TBH we were pleasantly surprised, we saw locals leaving their phones, wallets, handbags etc on their table in outdoor environment. We felt very safe in most places we went. Will definitely revisit one day.

I have never flown Kenya, but I would like to try their 787 from London. Trouble is, I don't fancy going to Kenya any time soon. Maybe I should try their fifth freedom to CAN?
where are you based? They do have a vast network and several fifth freedoms for you to try out. I also did Livingstone (Zambia) to Cape Town as part of this trip

Africans don't feel bad about neighbors, that is why we're comfortable with 222 business class seat. but 121 seat, is still the best.
Great report, thank you. Very poor catering for business class on both sectors, in my view. Quite coarse. I’m from an older generation of traveller and it’s sad for me to see how standards have changed, how we’re being conditioned to accept this level of catering as acceptable in the forward cabins. How aviation has changed - it’s cheaper, in so many ways.

Its pretty disrespectful to NOT take your shoes off while using the ottoman.. Disrespectful to the flightattendens and the airline.. Please dont do that again.. AND you should know this because you and your boyfriend has been travelling for a long time now... It may not be on the nono list but its a matter of respect
It’s debatable, I get told off by people here in the comment section that I take off my shoes at all. And I also get people who think the otherwise. Sorry but I cannot be perfect.
