I bought a leftover 2019 model in May 2020 with 4 miles on the odometer. After 4+ years it has over 54,000 miles now. Live in the southern part of North Caroliina so the weather is decent to ride all year long. Love the power and simplicity of this bike. It was a little scary the first time riding after moving up from a 600. The only change mechanically to this bike since it came out in 2006 is the clutch pack going from 5 fiber plates and 4 steel plates to 6 fiber plates and 5 steel plates. I see they brought the chrome back in 2024 but I like my B.O.S.S. better.
That bike sounds good with factory exhaust, my Yamaha Super Tenere has a shaft drive like this bike does. I only have to change the shaft drive oil every 12,000 miles. At 764 lbs, she a big girl, she's thicc, as the youth would say. Another great video Ray, I bet it is super comfortable.
It is Shawn! She is a big girl, with a big butt- Just my style😂!! That made my day Shawn!! Thanks again my great friend!!! Stay safe and talk to you again soon!!
Hey, good stuff it’s Mike again back at ya. I got a suggestion if you can do the war of the 100 cc bikes and war 998 cc bikes don’t matter if they’re 2024 or 2025 or both or whatever you can find. I wanna see that thanks keep doing what you’re doing. Good stuff thumbs up triple times👍👍👍
Hey, I love your videos and the variety of motorcycles you get to ride. I just have one suggestion could you maybe switch up your route a few times for some different scenery.
I'm glad you said that and Yes!! Doing it next Video! I was just thinking the same thing while I was filming 🎥. Thanks for Commenting and being apart of the Channel ETHAN🙏🏻.
Woah Ray! An 800cc with 120bhp on a cruiser with a shaft drive. That is so cool. Suzuki bringing the business again. I love the rumble on this bike. Very, very cool!
@@RayBowdenRides i don't like black bike looks like police traffic light bike white is the same too, i guess i wait until ruby red comes out or i buy a used one red.
2025 the chrome is back. I have a 2007 and it’s identical to the newer version. I was wondering when it was going full circle. Good to know as parts will be available for a long time to come.
Got a 2017 BOSS...Love it...went from a 750 shadow to a BOSS...basically the same as the original...a testament to its longevity...but it needs abs and other amenities...Suzuki should make a bagger version
The last big muscle bike from Japan all we get now is the 1300cc Honda Fury, the Kawasaki Vaquero is not the same category of the bike and is way under power for a bagger! In 2007, I paid 11K for a new M109r, and now it is almost 18K, I have a 2013 Yamaha Raider 1900cc, but it is not as fast as the 109R, I also have the 2023 Indian Sport Chief, which is a great bike to ride in the twisties. but still not even close to the M109R
My F6B is not much more weight.. That’s a BIG BIKE…!!! Until you can see the gauge of everything in person do you get The idea of the scale of the bike
That's Alex Marquez, his brother- the App Tonit. It's a AWESOME motorcycle app - I'm the most followed on it and they sent me to Rep for there company when they became one of his sponsors! Thanks for Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Stay in Touch.
Cool bike , but a little gaudy . I'll keep my '23 LRS. Maybe doesn't have quite as much hp, but torque is very impressive. Looks good too. The big Suzuke keeps coming up and I still say it's a little funky.
It looks good, very nice, some aftermarket pipes and itd sound awesome. I wish it'd have a gas guage. More cruisers need a gas guage. For a 2025 it should have 1. Also doing the tail light LED but headlight and turn signals aren't? Thats just silly and dumb. Led all around suzuki. Also this with some floor boards and heel toe shifter would be cool
I always thought this was a sharp bike. Probably the best looking cruiser from Japan. Of course that's subjective. I wish they would improve the speedo and dash to be current tech. That neon orange plastic speedo arm sure looks cheap.
Raymond..... i did note that in this video, you didn't dismount and turn the bike off...🤔 You didn't go for an extra spin did you?🙄 Nice looking bike... a Delilah and wallet breaker, for those who can be tempted (😈👹👺💔) Would you feel comfortable riding it to a 200 mile away church picnic?
@ That’s a pity Les. I was considering this bike in red and black, but then Suzuki released the GSXS1000 and I just saw the new 2025 Hyabusa in green yesterday!!! That thing is EPIC!!!!! Pictures do it no justice. It would be cool to do a group ride with you guys one day.
@Lowend_Chug mate I'd love to do a tour with you guys. 😁 3 refined, mature, genteel men enjoying the freedom of motorcycle riding 👌 That Hyabusa, sound amazing... I believe we 3 could avoid the temptations it presents 😈👹👺 (for about 5 minutes...if we are lucky 🙄)
The newly designed Fatboy with the Milwaukee-eight 114 is a cool bike, but delivers only 94bhp at 4750rpm at a cost of $21K starting price. If you’re not a brand purist, the Suzuki offers better performance specs, financial value and maintenance costs - but to each their own. The HD Fatboy is nice 👍
@@RayBowdenRides Yeah, I was considering this Suzuki in red with the blacked out engine and pipes. So I have been checking it out in some detail along with some other competitors.
The Honda VTX-C had 107 hp and 120 ft/lbs of torque. The Suzuki M109R has 128 horsepower and 118 ft/lbs of torque. I am not seeing how the Suzuki is inferior to the VTX.
I have a 2007 M109R, still running like new, lots of power. That was actually my first bike right out of an MSF training course. No regrets.
Awesome Jorge!! I love M109s. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
I rode this bike at bike week back in April; amazing bike! I think i was up to 60 mph in first gear, easily. It's a real power cruiser.

Damn, bro churnin out the videos , making the rest of a us Northerners jealous as we had to put our bikes away now 😞.

Ledo it does have a fuel gauge in the tachometer window.

Ledo the fuel gauge is actually located in the lower left of the speedometer not the tac window. My mistake.
Nice bike but for same money 💰 I'd prefer the kawasaki vulcan vaquero 1700... gives you the option for a rider if the occasion arises..
Yes sir!! That's a good looking bike!!
M109r was faster👍🏽
@riderhd5545 it may be but if I'm going for speed I'll buy a sport bike..
