    I’ve been on the fence about buying a gaming handheld. I own a Gen 6 Legion 7i with a 3080 and 64GB upgraded RAM, but it’s so cumbersome to haul around. I can’t get any work done outside of my office because even if it’s running in silent mode, it still gets hot and dies in less than an hour. This X1 seems like it would be great, especially with that keyboard so I can actually get work done too. Is there any significant performance difference between the 64 and 32? I don’t own any devices that share RAM like these handhelds and that’s why I haven’t purchased the Go. Also, how would you describe the difference between the Go and X1 screens? Thanks for the great vid!

    • @GamerVsTech
      @GamerVsTech  3 месяца назад +1

      @@artienbraum it depends on your use case. If you are lan on gaming and using it as a work device then I’d say 64 gb. 32 is totally enough for gaming. But if you want that extra power for work then 64 might be enough. Although you can just game and work separately and not at the same time. 32 is enough. As far as the screen, the legion go is a little more ergonomic. The controllers are built very well on the GO. The X1s controller is my lease favorite thing about them. They are not awful in any way. But not as nice as the legion go. I have very big hands so that might be it. However, the X1 is so powerful it puts the legion go to shame how well it can run games. And that screen!!! Wow!!! Bigger is better. The X1 is great when you can prop your arms up to take the weight load off. Or even table top gaming.
      Sounds to me like you’re pretty tech and computer savvy. The X1 needs a little tweaking. Join the discord if you have any questions or need help downloading files like bios updates and other drivers etc. hope this helps.

I’m also on the official forums and it does not work. The console app also doesn’t always work and both the turbo and the consolesometimes crashes the unit. I wish they fixed that before they sent this out. But I do love it because of the screen and the build. I will say beware of the customer service and Tech-Support. They pretty much suck. And the keyboard and trackpad are quite terrible. I don’t wanna be negative. I’m just kind of calling you out for not being honest on this review. @@EnzoMatrix11 I wouldn’t say gaming at 800p is bad, but it’s necessary sometimes. It usually boils down to battery life and how demanding the game is. For example, Cyberpunk, sure I can max out the resolution, but I’d be hitting 20 fps average. Dropping it to 800p on a large screen like this will not be as detailed. If I had to rate it on blurriness scale I’d say a 2 out of 10. 10 being the blurriest. But the large screen makes it very comfortable. Steam deck is the best 800p device. This is second.

    So tell me something, bro. People always tell me that buying a onexplayer from China would be a bad idea because if anything goes wrong, I would need to send it back to China for repair. Now, is there any way that I can get a warranty for a onexplayer device out here in the USA? That's the only reason I haven't bought a handheld from OnexPlayer because of the customer support. I would like to know if I can get it repaired here in the USA if anything ever goes wrong.

    • @GamerVsTech
      @GamerVsTech  4 месяца назад

      @@venancioder9288 unfortunately no. If it needs to get repaired it has to go back to China. I’m more worried within the first 30 days. Usually I’ll know whether or not to keep a device within that time. That’s why I suggest buying from Amazon for the easy return. But if it breaks after that period then it has to be shipped directly to them in china . There are people that can repair them in the US. But they won’t be covered under the warranty. Ive had 6 OneXPlayer devices. Never had to send any of them back. Usually it’s just software stuff that I can fix on my own.
