Gosh i was looking for something else, and i saw in the index River Ribble, I had to watch. So glad I did it takes me back to my Ribble days when we had a mate who worked nights and we sat on a peg, we ton' d up so many times especially when the Chub came in. Then off to Balderstone for some smashing weir fishing and the odd Barbel. I still have all my river tackle (Time to join PAAS again me thinks) Thanks Danny keep the videos coming.

i do wish i was closer for sure it offers such variety and like say is within banks more than out and fishinable soon after it is in its banks. missing my trips up there

can beat it can you mate missing the river ribble dee and severn for sure, so many plans but be worth all this trouble if im back on there and allmy mates are still with us to enjoy it

cheers mate, i have been asked that a few times and im just a normal every day angler mate so dont think i am good enough to compete if honest. matches are something i have thought about entering for sure though locally

Nice vid Danny. I’ve asked before but what levels are you looking at for trotting the Ribble? Was it 1.2 at Walton? What level was it on this particular day? Cheers mate
1.2 is my limit for the float for sure, on this session with is so low i would imagine its .8 and below
I'll take pike on the feed in the swim anytime over 20-40# snapping turtles...when a turtle comes in and you see bottom feeding bubbles on the top, Game over !

I prefer just round the bend in the slow deep channel. Good video again. Not sure it could be classed as local for you though
Hardly any water in on this session matey I love it more round bend. Session was recoded weeks ago Ian hence my comment at end re 2021 being better

@@IanG1969 deffo mate if see me on there when all this is over pop down for chat. cant see me getting on there or the severn otr the dee before close season to be honest. missing it like mad, as you know feb and march are the time be on the river for the silvers
Will do its a bit of a trek for me but worth it. Lock down is terrible, only grayling local and canal pike for me. But got to respect the rules
