Great video lads, nice Chub and excellent camera work from Chappy. Cadence video's are such a pleasure to watch and the tips you give out are excellent. Keep up the stunning work and tight lines.
Great video gents Cracking chub those Alan well done sir........when are we going :)? Great camera work as always chappy and the score is chappy 1 anglers nil.........but the next leg is yet to come.
Great film chaps and really cracking chub Alan. Often traveled that section of the M6 and always wondered what the fishing would be like there, so thanks for letting me know!!
It can be awesome, just hugely unlucky to not latch into a barbel, there are plenty around that area up to 10 lb, maybe bigger, but in my view Alan passed the challenge with his magnificent seven chub! ;)
Hi a very enjoyable video and shot on a day ticket stretch open to all. Got to say to that those were some of the best shots I’ve seen of the sunset , you caught them beautifully! Regards Bill
Barry S Hi thanks for the kind message. After numerous setbacks I hope to get out very soon and wet a line. I don’t know where I will fish but it will have to be a short walk as I’m feeling very fragile. I must admit I’m stir crazy as I’ve missed so much fishing time so fingers crossed! Regards Bill
Nice video, lads. I know that stretch and think it was good fishing to get that catch out in a short session, especially how low the levels have been lately...it was only pot luck that you didn't get a barbel out of there.
A combination of feeding sparingly and not wishing to spook the fish. They endure lots of feeders, probably making them wary. Alan used a feeder to introduce some stuff at the start.
brilliant film mate. can you tell me about the stretch you was on? is it the day ticket you get from the BP station? or another ticket. also what rod licence do you need? sea trout and salmon or non-migratory trout and coarse licence? also how many rods can you use 1 or 2? also is there a closed season on that stretch till 16th june? thanks again good vid to watch...
Fantastic evenings fishing on the Salmesbury fishery stretch of the Ribble..nicely done Alan 👍

I'd gathered that after watching it a few times........I must try that myself, rather than leaving the feeder on all day as I usually do...many thanks

Yes from garage. ALl rivers in England are closed to coarse fishing till June 16!!! Two rods when open, standard license.
cheers for the fast reply. tight lines
How do you get to fish that stretch?
full details at the end of the film....
That’s a tough challenge Chappy, great try Alan luvly chubby.
Nice film mate, but do you really need a keepnet?
Yes

Twat ,you do as you like and leave others to do what they want to do .
good fry year for ribble but heavy predation from cormrants and very bad farming practice in low oxygen times are a killer !!!
Hmmm
👍👍
“River Carp”.... some anglers will be very offended by that :0)
Fishing with pellets is not a challenge ! Anyone can chuck a pellet in for big fish. Pellets have destroyed some of our rivers!
Lol you absolute melt😂
