- Jenny Lake is one of the many gems of Grand Teton National Park. The area offers exceptional hiking, boat trips and canoe and kayak rentals. It's also very, very popular. If you want to park in the ample parking lot, you must get there well before 9 am during the summer otherwise, you'll be parking way down the highway and hiking back. Jenny Lake is only about 20 miles (less than a 30 minute drive) from Jackson, and a beautiful one at that. The locals have known about this beauty spot for decades and now the tourists know of it too.

I love Jenny Lake. It’s not nearly as nice as Lake Louise or moraine lake but if you’re in the grand Teton area it is one of the drawers of this region. I highly recommend anyone going but get there super early as the parking lot fills up. Great video by the way
I agree with you that Jenny Lake is magnificent. I also agree that this is not as pretty as moraine lake or Banff Lake Louise but that’s not what this lake is about. It’s just different. And different doesn’t make it better or worse. Jenny Lake stands on its own as a fantastic place to visit.
