Chopin wrote this at 12 years old, dedicated to his piano teacher as he continued to play and compose on his own. He took no lessons after 12 years old.

Beautiful tone, interpretation, and overall feel. Love it 😍! I first played this polonaise when I was 12 or 13. This piano is slightly lower in tuning. Not 440Hz, but that’s fine, as long as you can adjust (and you do ! Ślicznie !). W mojej edycji PWM Dzieła wszystkie (red. Paderewski) jest i zawsze było “F” jako ostatnia nuta píerwszego taktu. Ja zawsze szukam różnych wersji itp. Gdzie znalazłaś Ab jako ostatnią nutę ? Pytam z ciekawości, bo after playing F all my life, it sounds rather weird, although Ab can also be correct. Also in TRIO section you play this beautiful ornament on the last beat of the second measure. Did you come up with this by yourself, or it has been notated by Chopin (perhaps in manuscript, if it survived). Albo Ab octave in left hand (w edycji Paderewskiego jest Bb trzy razy). Fajnie, bo tworzy to Bb7 z septymą w basie (czy Chopin jako 11-latek już „słyszał” tą septymę w basie ?). Just curious...
Leider ist gleich im ersten Takt der letzte Ton falsch. Es muss ein F sein. Er ist immer wieder an dieser Stelle verkehrt. Schade, ansonsten gut gespielt.
