Driving is the easy part. 😄 Hard part comes when you need to load it or unload it. Sometimes by yourself. Or drive to some shit hole, that was design for small car, not a truck.

Damn, what an incredible truck. Talk about efficiency! You can pick up and tie in trailers in less than 10 minutes and could probably do it with a broken spine. What a purchase, hope you get to pay it off soon!!

You know, I hadn't conceptualized the utilization of the electronic side mirrors - but it makes sense as a natural progression from the electronic rear view mirror! Very cool! Very nice rig! I know the microphone on the cameras tend to pick up all kinds of noise - so the truck is really that quiet?! How wonderful!

I'm curius how those side mirrors-monitors works when it's dark or the lenses are wet.
@@kjungst Honda does this with their "honda sensing" package. The camera is recessed so becoming splashed or snowed on is veeeerryyy rare. At night in the city there's enough ambient light that visibility is still very good. There seems to be a coating or processing that also reduces glare, so that hasn't been a problem. Pitch black country roads, i mostly rely to see peoples' headlights.
Overall 8/10. I imagine Mercedes would do even better!
@@kjungst I mean, you wouldn't be able to see back on regular mirrors if it was too dark. My guess is that it's pretty much the same experience.
@@AxellSlade Cameras tend to glare when headlight is pointed at them at night so you for example cannot discern where exactly the headlight is in the camera.

I actually used to work on the hill you wanted to get up to. You can drive with a truck up there, there's actually quite a few companies up there. :)
Also I feel your pain with all the road blocks / Constructions sites around this area. It's really quite difficult for trucks to get to Zell.

This truck is really car like. So much more technologically advanced - and also in comfort - than the horse carriage like trucks of the US.
I passed through this exact petrol station last June and the mountains there were one of the most fascinating places i drove through.

All I am seeing is the level of Tech in the Mercedes truck. Digital ORVM's, Bird's eye view of the trailers and hitches, Tire pressure monitoring, weight on the tires/axle, Navigation systems, Ease of driving. I am amazed by all this. Beautiful roads, scenery, Infrastructure. Hi from India 🤝❤
