      Given that ultra realism in the form of Unreal Engine 5 already exists today, I’d say give or take ten more years for such games to become mainstream.

    30:05 yes, we do always appreciate and respect our local recovery company. When you're up to your neck in problems, you've got a big piece of metal blocking the road- you really appreciate these recovery wagons turning up.
    BTW every Volvo bus and coach (or all that I've come across) have ferry lifts on them, which makes it so much easier to tow- you don't need to worry about tail strikes etc. But Volvo make them so that it can only work when the engine is running- turn it off and it drops back down. I must get the wiring diagrams from IMPACT and I'll bet that it's possible to bridge a relay to force the ferry lift to engage with the engine stopped.
    Excellent work as ever, Steve.

    • @gavincolgan1827
      @gavincolgan1827 Месяц назад

      @@DaChaGee It's really annoying. I'm American/English, I had a car for the longest time, but got rid of it with the ULEZ expansion. I cannot deal going 50 mph or lower on the motorway. It's like nails on a chalkboard for my half-American brain. Around my home in the US I don't have to worry about speed limits. I can go as fast as I please in some areas. Speed limit is 65-70 and traffic flows at over 90. In the middle of nowhere in the desert I set my cruise on max at 110. The one time I did get a ticket for 98 in a 65 and it was a $500 fine with no points or driving ban.

      Thanks for watching , safety chain job is to stop the axle lifting out of fork on slope or speed ramp , by chaining in from the side if any side movement occurs the chain will tighten , you can use chain tensioner but metal against metal you will still get slight movement. I have used rubber strips before that does work but only last for 1 job.

    Hi Steve, love your content. I'm curious to hear more about the Enviro 400s with the ZF axles. I've been in heavy recovery for 6 months or so now and have never heard about this, only know to remove opposite shaft to diff lock if present. Why the need to remove both shafts in the case of the ZF?
    Take care, great to see all the safety precautions you take. I've learned a good handful of useful tips from your videos.

      Thanks for watching mate , apparently pulling one shaft does not fully disconnect the drive to gearbox . We work for various bus companies and part of the contract is two remove both half shafts , i take it they must of had warranty issues. Pleased to hear you find videos helpful stay safe.
