harrow is one of my favorite books of all time- it’s such a raw, earth-shattering and haunting look into grief. i’m so happy to hear you’re enjoying it!🤍
Also, Tamsyn Muir is the Queen of the reread. I honestly finished Harrow the Ninth and my first thought was "I can't wait to reread this so I can pick up on all those moments along the way"
This series is my favorite of all time. I cannot even tell you how many times I've reread them over the years. I go through stretches of re-listening to the audio books over and over and over 😁 I love seeing you talk about how wild Gideon as I sit here laughing because I know Harrow will be more wild!
Ahhh, curse you end of the week! Looking forward to seeing your thoughts once you get to the end of Harrow. I’ve read these books so so many times at this point and love seeing people get into them for the first time ❤
To be fair, they are STUNNING! I haven’t even read the books and I want them. Also stunning: that blue sweater on you. (All of your sweaters are really)
I have had a similar experience with the Locked Tomb in that I loved GtN so much and then had a pattern of starting and stopping and re-reading but never finishing the sequels. I got through, and enjoyed HtN, but I've been dragging through NtN. And it's hard to explain because I love the world so much and GtN is in my top 5 fave books- I love GtN so much that it inspired my doctoral thesis and I got a tattoo for it. HtN was objectively so good, but.......each book has such a different tone and format. So GtN was such a fire-in-a-bottle for me and then the others have fizzled. Ultimately though, I think I just miss Gideon. I care about the other characters but I most enjoy reading from her POV and I miss her interactions with Harrow so I think I'm getting less emotionally invested the longer we go without them.
I've tried a few times to add a reply that FanKidRachel on TkTk has a printable reading guide for HtN that I highly recommend, but then my reply keeps disappearing. So this is my last try. Hopefully it sticks.
The best thing about the Locked Tomb series is that I re-listen to them each time a new book comes out. Let's all pray to Jod that we get Alecto this year! 💀🙏💀
This made me so excited to get to Gideon the Ninth! I just have to finish off a few other series first and then I am so there for this (and Ancillary Justice too!)
I just made soup, sat down to start Tress of the Emerald Sea. But 1st I'm watching your blog. Ok I have done exactly the same thing as you. I started Gideon the Ninth! I don't know why but I seem to have that problem because there are SO many new things coming out....anyways, Tress is going back on the shelf and because of this vlog I am again excited to finish this book!
OMG! I loved this series so much! First book was so funny and cookie Corky love the main character so much 📚📚🎉🎉📚📙📖📙📚🎉🩵🎉📖📖📙📚🎉🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵📚📙📖📖📙📚🎉🎉🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵📚📙📖📖📙📚🎉🎉🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵📚📚📙📙📚🩵🩵📚📚📙📙
I’m in the same place with the Gideon the Ninth series and also with The Fifth Season series. I hate when I do that because I’m horrible about rereading books. Hopefully, I can find some inspiration from you. 😊
Tempted to check out that Kickstarter--but I already have the Shades of Magic trilogy, so I am not sure if I can justify it. I am a big Japan nerd, so I love anime, but I mostly read and watch thr Boys Love genre, so I don't always watch the "mainstream" shows lol.
I lovedlovedloved Harrow the Ninth, I listened to it and I was gasping and laughing and screaming out loud - it was probably the best audiobook I've experienced tbh. I am considering getting all of the released ones and rereading them before reading Nona the Ninth
I loved book one one locked tombs series sooooooooo much but Harrow like really confused me book two. But then it all made sense and i was like WOW. Like i miss the characters soooooooooooooooooo freakin much. Do you have any book recommendation that have a similar vibe ? there's so many different aspects of the book. You should do a couple recommendations. Like one that has a similar world build, one that has a similarish characters like characters that our funny extra. BTW I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL SO GLAD I DISCOVERED YOUR PAGE.
That cream sweater is perfect, I’m obsessed. Also Regan do you have a storygraph account? I switch from Goodreads this year and there is someone with peruseproject as their name but I don’t know that it’s you.
I would really want you to read empire of vampire by jay kristoff people seem to love it very much and its rating on goodreads is really high once you read it and if you like it then i will read it because reading something from jay kristoff is hard for me after nevernight
"it's really raining now" - Reagan casually continues talking about her book as the heavens unleash everything they have
ahaha I am used to it living in texas

yes! It was so interesting!!
The rainy ambiance at 7:50! Sounds like perfect cozy reading weather!
7:32 the rain is really said "I'm stunning too💃" 😂😂😂
Also, Tamsyn Muir is the Queen of the reread. I honestly finished Harrow the Ninth and my first thought was "I can't wait to reread this so I can pick up on all those moments along the way"
Your vlogs are always so cosy, and get me excited about all the books I need to get to asap!
Highly recommend the audio for this series! Moira Quirk is fantastic and brings the story to life!

when you're finished with harrow, there's short stories on the publisher's site - they're so good. they were originally in the paperback release.
I've never read anything like The Locked Tomb series, its incredibly unique and I love it. So happy you're enjoying it too!
This video made my day. It's so interesting to see your 'confusing' reading process. I love the locked tomb series and harrow is my favorite.
Yes JJK! glad you are enjoying it! Season 2 just ended a few weeks ago- there are 2 seasons & a movie so far.
Ahhh, curse you end of the week! Looking forward to seeing your thoughts once you get to the end of Harrow. I’ve read these books so so many times at this point and love seeing people get into them for the first time ❤

I literally finished Harrow yesterday and saw that you posted this!! I was so excited to hear your thoughts because these books blew my mind!!

Love tears of the kingdom !!
I'm sometimes worried with books like Ninth House and and Gideon, when people say its confusing 😂
Loved this cozy vlog ❤
Trying to get back to the habit of watching your reading vlogs (and more RUclips in general)
I’m in the same place with the Gideon the Ninth series and also with The Fifth Season series. I hate when I do that because I’m horrible about rereading books. Hopefully, I can find some inspiration from you. 😊
harrow is one of those books where the less you know going into it, the better. it doesn’t work for everyone but hot damn did it work for me
I really enjoyed gideon the ninth and the sequel definitely will be reading the third book
Tempted to check out that Kickstarter--but I already have the Shades of Magic trilogy, so I am not sure if I can justify it.

I reaaally need to get to this series. It’s been on my shelf for so long and I KNOW I’ll love it. Don’t know why I still didn’t read it 😅
i got so excited to see JJK
Well guess I know what I’m getting …. Love your reviews. You’ve never let me down with your recommendations ❤❤
Ahhhh I’ve had the same issue with Gideon the Ninth!!! I loved book one but I haven’t continued!(despite owning all three books🥴)
I loved the first book! I was confused for most of the second book. Lol Haven't gotten to book 3 yet.
I love Unpacking! I played the entire game in one sitting when I bought it 😂
Yessss Jujutsu Kaisen!

OMG YOUR PRINCES DI SWEATER!! 😍😍😍
I’ve still yet to read Gideon 😤
Good luck with JJK 😅😊
That cream sweater is perfect, I’m obsessed. Also Regan do you have a storygraph account? I switch from Goodreads this year and there is someone with peruseproject as their name but I don’t know that it’s you.
When I started reading Harrow I was so lost I thought "what? Did I really finish the first book? What's going on? lol lol
Exactly I was like wtffff lol

Ugh I want that shades of magic so bad but the cost and shipping to Canada and then converted to CAD is like $140-$150 :(
I would really want you to read empire of vampire by jay kristoff people seem to love it very much and its rating on goodreads is really high once you read it and if you like it then i will read it because reading something from jay kristoff is hard for me after nevernight

Now onto Nona, right?! :)
Just saying, but CLAY TURNED INTO MILLIE AT 25:19. Pretty sure I'm on to something here.
Anyone else get sad when they take their Christmas tree down? Sad😢
Customizable Bookmarks From Brazil🇧🇷🏖
Please please please read the short stories before reading Nona...there are things you need to know 👀👀👀👀
