These figures are very well built and painted. Thanks for the comparison with the old figures, I recently started collecting and it's good to see the differences, I wish A18 could have brought more accessories though, she felt a bit overpriced, though she also looks like more exclusive.
There are tons of characters to do period, they haven't even touched the Z movies other than Broly. They can do whatever with Super, I'm not a big fan but I did pick up the event exclusive to have a Goku in each form.
I'm happy with my old releases I think I'll stick with them. The paint is better on the new release but I think the OG 18 is more Anime accurate. Mean while the new 18 looks more like it's based of her appearance in the Future Trunks OVA
I think we can assume that they chose not to include those old Krillin parts with the new Android 18 because newer versions of those Krillin parts will be included with the 2.0 Krillin that will eventually be announced.
I acutally like one of Super 17, I like GT I know some people hate it but to be honest the design of the Characters and Villains are actually more cooler than in Super.
Honestly, I do kinda like either the Figure-Rise Standard or Dragon Stars version of Android 17 and 18 anyway, 'cause they're cheaper while they're aren't perfect though.
8man would have to be huge, I hate how they made the kid goku and krillin scale so bad to everything...same with oozaru vegeta, they should have made him waaaay bigger, fuck the price
Zapdos it's nerf or nothin, of course I want him in scale. if you would spend like 200 you would spend 800, what they released looks like a marvel legends build a figure, with dragon stars level joint and articulation design and of course...no paint. I rath break the bank for something perfect than support something mediocre
I think the new ones paint schemes are closer to the Future Trunks special, the originals are closer to the anime. I also prefer the eyes on the originals, the new ones are either too big or the blue is making it look off.

The assholes at Tamashii can repaint SSG Goku and Krillin and put those and Beerus and SSJ3 Goku back out in circulation, that would be nice of them, they must be made of fucking rare earth metals or something, because they're never as available as the figurise or dragon stars
I think they are gonna do more cell saga stuff. They are going in on the namek saga rn. I suspect they did these guys as reprints cause they were meant for conventions. Once they are done with namek/frieza saga they gonna go all in on Android/cell saga

The new ones have better paint but the old ones have more accurate faces. I really don't like how the eyes on the new ones are enlarged vs the old ones which look way better and makes them look more sinister.
