Thank you for this documentary review of the Billy Goat QV550hsp. Too often, product makers exaggerate their product's abilities in their short videos. Long-format documentary videos are a great tool to accurately show the strengths and weaknesses of equipment; and you did well here. If I may make one suggestion; show the process to remove, empty, and reinstall the collection bag. In my experience with lawnmower collection bags, that step led me to buy or not buy specific equipment. Steven, Utah USA
Regardless of the vaccum part the problem is the design of the buggy underneath. When you PUSH forward the energy actually angles down right where the front wheels touch the earth. Those wheels need to be big and wide and not swivel because they carry the majority of the load. These puny swivel wheels just sink into the grass and make it even more difficult to move. Even if you swapped the existing wheels around it would push 40% easier.
Thank you for posting. Do you recommend this machine? Seems for $3k+ the suction is "average". Torn between this and the Little Wonder pro SP..... or they both may not be suitable for my needs. How's the suction with slightly uneven terrain? Did you try this with wet leaves?
Hello, I am satisfied with the machine. I also doubted , but the quality of the machine is top. I would go for the 9 HP afterwards, that is slightly better. He does what he has to do and the hosekit is great. I use it after pruning hedges and vacuuming up dust and small waste in parking places. Wet leaves are no problem, but you have to learn how to handle them. Approach with car en let the suctiondo its work! Odd terrain can be tricky but not for leaves. Well if you vacuum fine sand then you have to cross over What i miss is a brake, I made one myself. I hope it is some use for you! Greeting from the Nederlands
