I liked Brooklyn KD
KD is amazing. Absolutely terrific.
But His game, like Dirk, is based off of Larry "Legend" Bird. Just like LeBron, based His game of off Magic, You young cats need to understand the NBA existed before the year 2000.
I love the game and where it is and going in the future.
As a born and raised Boston Celtics fan I have watched KD since His days in Seattle.
I will say, in my own humble opinion, He is now in the top 15 based off of scoring and talent.
He can't be in the top 10 in the annals of history because of the championship pedigrees needed.
But if we are talking consistently being over 20pts every game for 10plus years (approaching 20years) only LeBron and KD have that claim.
It is a privilege to watch this monumental basketball player grace us with His astounding game.

Larry Bird is a legend & was an all around player who could score, pass, & rebound. To be compared to Larry Bird is a flattering comment but KD’s game is based of the streets of Washington DC. Larry Bird was not crossing people over or getting shots off the dribble or going to the basket & dunking on people. He wasn’t shooting pull up threes of the dribble & he wasn’t blocking shots either. Two different games. Only similarity they have is the can shoot the ball & rebound. But Larry Bird didn’t have a street ball game, he had spectacular no look passes but Larry Bird & KD do not have the same game. I’m from DC watch KD play since he was a young phenom. Him & a Michael Beasley came up together & both are great scorers. Especially one on one scorers & can shoot effortlessly & play with a certain edge. That’s just game from Washington DC game. KD did take that one leg shot from Dirk Nowitzki but KD game is all Washington DC.
..mwrong, I saw Bird play from beginning to end when his back wasn't shot he could dunk, he shot running 3s off the dribble with likes of Jordan and Pippen trying to block him, time and again, even one legged 3s long before Dirk, broke ankles on quite a few players including Dominique on several occasions...and look at his stats, steals and Blocks, yes he could ... KD is amazing for sure but, let's not say things about Larry's game that aren't true when you obviously don't know the game I saw him play in College and then the Pros... BTW KD 1.1 bpg, 1.1 spg avg Bird 1.7 SPG, .8 bpg... So if you add the 2 averages together you get 2.5 averages for Bird, 2.2 for KD... ... Check your stats man... Just sayin'... To

I still feel like KD is, perhaps, the best pure scorer ever. there have been some great scorers, but watching a pure scorer is little bit different. no matter who is guarding them or what defense they're playing against--- they ALWAYS make it look easy.. from anywhere on the court.

I apparently didn't watch enough games over his career because I don't see it. I believe that I stopped paying attention when he left OKC. Being from Dallas I loved him here at The State University though.
