Glad I can finally watch somebody playing the actual melodic bass lines. Does anyone knows what's the effect that Hooky its using on this song besides the chorus? In the recording there's something that gives the bass some kind of metallic tone and even though he plays high notes it still sounds deep.
The chorus he uses is an Electro Harmonix Clone Theory that has a metallic sound compared to most chorus effects. He also uses a short delay effect, originally some Yamaha solid state unit.

Sounds true to the recording! One of the only postings of bass covers of this I’ve seen that has!

Chorus is the main one that matters. there's some EQ in there too, but if you have Chorus you have 95% of it.
