Just a clarification, only Tenebre Rosso Sangue (and ULTRACHURCH, which you haven't reacted to yet) were composed by Keygen Church, a guest composer (and their main band is called MASTER BOOT RECORD and Keygen Church is kind of a side project of his) and PANDEMONIUM & WAR were composed by Hakita, the main dev of the game and the composer for _pretty much_ all of the OST.
I knew I recognized those electric guitar sounds from somewhere, so that WAS master boot record after all
p-2 is the hardest level in ultrakill so far where the devs basically said "you know what would be funny" for most of the design
One must imagine Hakita ultralaughing in his ultrabasement making this ultralevel

P stands for both Prefect and Prime. P-2 is "Prime Sanctum 2", a level you unlock by beating P-1 and getting a Perfect score on all levels of Act 2 of the game.
Also, Tenebre Rosso Sange is Italian for "Blood Red Darkness"
It can also be translated as "Dark-Red Blood" but "Blood Red Darkness" sounds cooler

@TheSast Tenebre means Darkness or Dark, Rosso means Red and Sangue means Blood. So if you translated it word by word it would be Dark Red Blood. But Blood Red Darkness is also correct.

If you want to hear more of this, I recommend listening to "Ultrakill Layer 7" OST, it's about 7 (not so long) tracks and they are very interesting and complex.
I would love to hear you discuss their melodies and compositions.
They are also the most recently produced ones, so the composer has learned even more since the other ones
Maybe he should listen to the other Ultrakill songs before going straight to Layer 7
@@mixednarwhal I might be wrong but I don't think layer 7 builds upon the previous tracks, so there isn't really an order in which you need to listen too them. And since he liked the compositions of these I think he would enjoy the style of layer 7
@@korreollonborre I’m not sure as to what you mean by "build upon" but my reasoning is that if he starts from act 1 onto act 2 he can hear the progression of the music as the tone is slowly building up to the end of the game in act 3.
@@mixednarwhal What I meant by "buily upon" is that none of the themes contain significant leitmotifs or themes, and none of the songs in layer 7 correlates to the rest. Since he doesn't know the context of the game, he wouldn't understand the deeper meaning behind it anyway, so I think it's best to just recommend an intresting set of songs (and layer 7 is all pretty consistently good, so it's easier for him to look up a playlist rather than seperate sonhs)

To answer your question in the beginning of the video P-2 stands for Prime Sanctum 2.
Prime Sanctums are secret and extremely difficult levels that you unlock by doing perfectly every single level in a Act.
The game so far has 2 complete Acts so 2 Prime Sanctums are available at the moment, P-2 is BY FAR the most challenging and fast-paced level in the whole game, so it makes sense that a batshit insane fast song like Tenebre Rosso Sangue is used for its background music!
Fun Fact: Tenebre Rosso Sangue means "Blood Red Darkness" in Italian (as the composer is Italian himself)
P.S. The songs Chaos and Order that you already reacted to are coincidentally the tracks from P-1
Imagine fighting a nine foot tall glowing golden man built like the world's strongman champion walking at you with speeds of teleportation with his fists raised before appearing behind you like its goddamn dragonball to kick or punch you in the back of the head and just one to two of these hits means death and hes having only the time of his life while you constantly dodge and try parrying his attacks.
That is the feeling of fighting Sysyphus Prime, which is the boss the theme War is for.

For context for Tenebre Rosso Sangue specifically: This is a theme that plays over the most brutal enemy gauntlet that you have seen up until this point, and when I say brutal I mean BRUTAL. This level (including the final boss) took me an hour and 20 minutes to beat, and probably 50 of those minutes were the gauntlet before the boss. It is one of the hardest challenges I have undertaken in gaming and it is very fun. But just imagine, you're fighting absolutely ridiculous enemy combinations, downright cruel encounters, all while this insane organ music is blasting the whole time. It's incredible.
Tenebre Rosso Sangue is one of the most unique songs I've ever heard. Brutal, classic, incredible.
Tenebre rosso sangue - the song for the gauntlet you face before all chaos (made by keygen church)
Pandemonium - the song for the flesh prison you face after the gauntlet. The prison is called "flesh panopticon" and its purpose is to kill any intruders that attempts to try and break it. It does its job very well as it can kill the player in seconds... If you survive for long enough, the prisoner, which is sisyphus prime, breaks it from the inside and gets out.. (pandemonium is made by hakita)
WAR - the song that plays as sisyphus kills you over and over again.. For anyone who completed the level, they call it "the song of 100+ restarts" (also made by hakita)
violence layer 7 act 3 music is peak, you should react to all of it. "war without reason" has to be one of the best songs i have ever listened to
I wish you reacted to these songs with voice lines it honestly feels lime a whole different experience i promise

P levels are Prime sanctums, they are hidden levels for which you have to P-rank the whole act and if applicable clear the previous prime sanctum
P-rank is treated as perfect rank, and as such it requires S-rank in style, kills and time with no deaths, no resets, some of the P-ranks require you too complete levels secret challenge like skipping the puzzle in 1-4, killing the insurrectionist in under 10 seconds in 4-2 or reaching the boss in under 10 seconds in 5-4

You should do other Keygen Church songs I'm telling you that you won't regret it. They consistantly make bangers.
always fun to see people react to tenebre tosso sangue lmao. i recommend checking out the terraria calamity mod soundtrack aswell it’s really good (some good songs to start imo would be blood coagulant, the filthy mind or unholy insurgency)
